Ok, but looking back, in the 2010s early developers used pre-made assets or resorted to very simple or careless art for their first projects.

In that sense it is not so different that no one is born knowing how to do things on their own.

If you see it as a way to advance to the next dev level, starting with automatic processes and then learning to do things on your own seems like a great idea to me.

Well, If you want to continue using this technology at an artistic level, I highly recommend AI models that they generate an easily editable base so you can check for errors, or you can generate the base shape and color yourself and let the AI retouch it.

But having AI do all the work for you is not one of them.

Obvious Gemini artwork and the refrigerator doors don't fit.

I think you should learn to use less and less AI(P) in your future projects.

And a message for all those who have supported this game and others that used the same techniques: Don't you realize that by using AI(P) models from large companies (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Grok, etc.) we are contributing to the bubble that has made all the technology we need to use it more expensive?

The day your phone or PC breaks down and the new one is now too expensive to buy (at best, rented from Klarna) you will regret having supported projects made with AI(P).

I think you should reconsider your words.

A game can't be called "professional" if the AI(P) content is more relevant than human work.

Clarification: It's made with AI(P)! The devs already mentioned in the description that they used Gemini for the game's art.

And no matter how hard they tried to make it look as good as possible, being generative AI art, it has left traces like the Gemini's watermark in some pictures, and things like the fridge has a door that doesn't fit properly.

The Gemini's watermark it's too obvious and the refrigerator doors don't fit.
