thank you!
never really took the time to sit down and learn mobile development, but this might be the project for it lol.
thanks so much!
i produced the music myself for another project that im working on for my game dev portfolio, ‘mixer mayhem’, and decided to throw it into this game last minute so the game wasn’t completely silent lol. if you wanted to check that game out, its on my profile! there’s 4 other tracks to listen to there, all produced by me as well :)
very nice proof of concept!
the idle style gameplay lends itself really well to the wild west theme; grinding manual labor in order to build a railroad fits the bill perfectly.
one note, some of the sounds are wayyy too much (the hunger warning, in particular). there was a moment in time where my food meter was constantly jumping between 0 and 1, and the bell sound became too much to the point where i had to take my headphones off to play the rest of the game
besides that one easily fixable complaint, really well done!

really addicting game. i really dont have anything to complain about, ESPECIALLY considering the amount of polishing you were able to do within a week! this game would do numbers on mobile if you committed to adding a few extra obstacle setups/enemies and perhaps a way to extend a run (stopwatch pickups, to fit the theme?)
curious, what engine did you develop this on?
cheers :)
rated! i had a good time with your game for sure 😁 would be cool to see you try and expand this project. i'd start with fixing the respawning; it was pretty disorienting to have the camera zooming back and forth whenever i died, and because there isnt a small pause/death animation between lives, i ended up losing a whole bunch of extra lives because i had my finger held down when i respawned and would walk into nearby spikes over and over again... (it did sound really funny when the music was looping between deaths though lol)
super bummed, this was going to be my first ever game jam and my first 3D project
i was absolutely crushing it, but between getting a concussion (lol) and having to go back to work right after i recovered, i couldn't get it finished in time.
not to mention i had a playable demo ready before the deadline just in case i couldn't finish, but i realized too late that i didn't have the webgl export package installed when i tried to export the project...
oh well, if anyone would like to check the demo out, i'll be releasing it sometime this week most likely
cheers
