Hmmm, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Is there a dodge button? Or you have to perform a specific move with the basic controls?
I'd like to precise though that the atmosphere of the game is absolutely spot-on, it reminded me of older Puppet Combo's games like Power Drill Massacre, you did an amazing job!
PS: are you by any chance italian? I'm guessing by the names, as you can deduce from mine I'm italian too!
Guys, this is not it. I know what you were trying to do, but this is not it. The game is almost 100% luck-based in its current state. The range of the killer's attack is so wide that if he sees you in a narrow corridor, or if he is just around the corner, you WILL take the hit, no matter what. It happened to me once that he commenced his attack animation from an abundant meter away and I still took the hit. I even saw blood come out of thin air. There is no dodge, no evasion, once the killer commences his animation, he is literally scripted to hit you. This is not challenging, you may even be the best player in the universe, but if luck decides to turn her back to you, you are destined to lose.
I can testify it can be actually beaten, but it takes a lot of practice because Daniela is very very strong. The secret is to hit the disk not too hard, and to point at the center, towards her, not to the sides, because the trajectory becomes too unpredictable otherwise. Also, staying forward, near the center of the table, helps too, because you can maneuver faster. Eventually she'll make a mistake if you manage to resist long enough.
I played it in the Dread X Collection, and I was so impressed that I was really hoping for a standalone release! I re-bought it here and I'm happy I did, it has been fantastic as the first time. One of the most stilish and original horror games ever, also one of the creepiest, highly recommended to everyone!
I managed to solve the shrines puzzle indeed! But for the mailboxes I really have no clues. I noticed one has a dreamcatcher on it, and there's indeed a dreamcatcher in one of the save rooms, the one in the wagon, but I can't interact with it in any way. On another mailbox there's a lantern, but it's full of lanterns everywhere. As for the bell, I think I didn't see any around. I am definitely stuck on that...
Ah, I see! Thank you, this is indeed the kind of hint I needed. One more question though: I opened a door using a wrench, in the "invisible" house between the crucifixes, but inside that room I found nothing. This is too strange to me, there MUST be something. Did I miss something right under my nose?
