We are currently looking for a pixel artist to help bring our newest project to life. After finishing and publishing our first game, we're starting development of our next project and are looking to improve the graphics and style of our previous release.
The concept:
At it's core, the game will be a standard platformer with the usual aim of finishing each level. However in order to do so the player must alter the game's variables in real time to change the level around the platforming character.
What we're looking for:
We're fairly set on a pixel art style for the game, but there is room for interpretation within that. Overall there is very little animation involved apart from a few environmental bits (think water, lighting etc.) We'll also need standard UI bits as well as buttons, levers and sliders to control the games variables. When we initially thought of the concept the game "Please don't touch anything" came to mind and we think a similar style could be suitable, but it's not a must.
What we're offering:
We'll handle everything else. Programming, marketing, publishing etc. Therefore you can focus on the game's artwork . Money wise we're happy to offer 25% of all revenue the game produces . The game itself is really a project we're undertaking because we have some downtime right now but we would like to have it complete and ready to publish by October.
We're fairly dedicated to this at the moment, with progress taking place on most days of the week. We're also happy to talk whenever and are open to feedback and creative input.
