I really appreciate that you took the time, not only to play it but write down your thoughts for me. Its super valueble insight, and motivating to read honest feedback. Thank you!

Definitely lmao, thanks! https://lpjc.itch.io/desktop-tcg-convention
And thank you for leaving some feedback, I truly appreciate it :)

just posted a my demo on itch to test the theme/concept and core gameplay before building it out even more.

It’s a cozy desktop idle-ish TCG booth game: buy packs, rip cards, stock your booth, sell cards, repeat, and fill your collection for boosts/new sets.

Any tips for getting actual useful feedback on itch? Page copy, screenshots, devlogs, clearer questions, posting elsewhere? I welcome any tips!

Great take on the genre! But as many other mentioned, it becomes trivial really quick, I hope you'll expand with maybe stronger "enemies" or different types or whatever. It's very neat for a proof of concept, and I tihnk it proves it can be a good entry to this genre!

(Also ,there is visual bug where available upgrades look unavailable until i siwtch tabs)
