The hook of the game is very creative, and gives the feeling to want to finish the game. It had the fun parts when rushing to a door, or staying in a room to shoot for enemies in another room and gain time. I love that, vvvv cool concept
The interior is pretty small, so I couldn’t really use the movement system which felt a bit advanced. Also, there doesn’t seem to be incentive to go into rooms with a lower countdown, maybe enemies could regain life when a room has its full countdown to encourage going back and doing risky plays. Or like rooms not within a loop, so you have to think about the map in order to traverse them.
Funky game which feels a bit pure luck by sometimes, only went to the Spring cards, but it got something to it. You maybe get too often the feeling of being forced to going in blind. Maybe have some kind of safe way to play which doesn’t net your points / make you closer to the end of a deck ?
Lovely art
I disagree with one of the other comments. I was FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE here. It felt that maybe the first game is easier than the ones when you restart ? I had 129.85 at first but on subsequent runs, I could only get around 88. Nice music, maybe the placement of the dragonflies feel a bit too random, as sometimes they seem chilling right beside or even into a fire.
Cool dino.
