wow, thanks so much! i can't say i expected someone to resonate this hard with this thing lol. i definitely think you picked up on what i was going for with this too.

also, if you wanna see some more cool "underground" stuff, check out some of the other submissions for the Impressions Composing Jam: OST #2, which is what I submitted this to. CICADA SYNDROME, What Was Left Behind, and What Happens on a Stage were favorites of mine.

man, this is pretty. kinda reminds me a bit of Lighthouse (2023) by DM Dokuro. tracks 2 and 5 especially sound really atmospheric and almost a little spacey. great work.

definitely one of my favorites out of these. before i even started, i was already excited to listen to this just by how much the cover art and title stood out, and it did not disappoint. it's industrial, it's experimental, it's dark, and i am a sucker for all of the above. the only thing i'd say is that i'm not sure how well the songs fit the paintings, but they're still great songs in their own right.

i've noticed that songs that use the sgm soundfont tend to either be really good or really bad, and man, this one is really really good. i think you really hit the mark with what you were going for here. it really feels like a melancholic credits theme.

"it's over. after way too much pain and suffering, its actually over, and you're still here to tell the tale. now you can sit by a cliffside, watching the sunset as the evening breeze blows by and wonder how it got to this."
