I'm making a metroidvania and need original tilesets for the environments.

I'm looking for art that has a dark, medieval aesthetic. The darker the better.  Think Berserk or Kingdom Death. I want to see things like castles made of skulls built on top of mountains which are also made of skulls. Torture chambers are obligatory. Rivers of blood are great. Landscapes made of screaming human faces are spectacular. I want to see some real nightmare fuel.

If that's your style, I want to hear from you.

Character sprites in my game are generally 48px tall for reference.

For about an hour I thought you messed up the shield because of the over/under files. Then I figured it out. What you did was really clever. Looks great.

Is this a larger size now? What exactly is different from the old version?

This is really cool. I'm definitely going to use it in my game. It seems very Clive Barker inspired to me. I would love to see more dark and surreal monster designs like this. I feel like Itch is really flooded with milquetoast assets, but this stands out.

This is great. I like the the feet are on the same horizontal axis. It can be used for platformers that way.

I have been waiting months for you to do this. I used your skeleton archer in my game, but I didn't have a matching sword skeleton until now! Excellent work. Some of the best on itch.

Who did the original?

You do the best sidescroller backgrounds on Itch. I bought all of them. Keep it going.

This is high quality. The maid pack you did is really impressive btw. If you do that for some or all of the characters in this set I bet it would be a big seller. There are a ton of female adventurer/main character assets on itch, but very few npc/princess/sexy maiden types. I had a hard time finding a princess to save in my sidescroller. Sprites like this fill that gap.
