Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

I'm already working on a new version of the game and, in this new version, orbiting gives much more speed than it does now

Aiming the down dash leaves many edge cases open and could interact wierdly with other elements, it would also make floor bouncing very unpredictable.

Also the controls can be rebound, so maybe that can help a little with them feling akward

Thank you, I'm stupid :)

Also, the game is great!

Nothing worng with casual games! :)

I just don't think this one fits the jam particularly well

Thank you for the feedback!

I plan to update the game once the jam ends, and I'm probably going to give the game a slower and easier start as well as some more clear instructions on how to build up speed and how to use it + some black holes adjustments as the can cause you to lose a lot of speed if you accidentaly invert your rotation :)

Thanks for playing!

ohhh

ok!

If you plan on updating the game I suggest to place some sort of indicator on when the 15 seconds are about to end, like a red bar that times the shots or some sort of sound indicator when you are 5 seconds away

The gameplay doesn't have anything to do with speedrunning or orbiting, the art is really jarring and the gameplay is overly simplistic

Cool concept but the gameplay is kinda rough

This could really use from some feedback when hitting enemies, some better collisions and more fluid movement

Also I think you kinda forgot there was a theme :)

Not a bad idea, but the gameplay is really repetitive, and there's not really much to do

Really unique take on the orbit theme, nice visuals and the movement is intuitive but a bit stiff

This game was published before tha jam began.

Also it has nothing to do with the theme

I think that's quite a strech

Getting "blown up to orbit" especially.

Also, how do you propose speedrunning it works?

Very cozy and atmospheric!

Gameplay is also good!

This doesn't have anything to with either speedrunning nor orbiting.

Methinks you are jamfarming.

The gameplay is theoretically good but the clunkyness and the lack of poilish takes it back a little

The atmosphere of the game is really cozy and the gameplay could be solid but pressing space at the right time is pretty annoying, as the timing is really strict, some leniency on the controls would be really good!

Pretty fun game!

The collisions can feel a bit unfair but other than that it's a vary good game!

This is really unique!!

The gameplay is kinda confusing but the aestatics are on-point!!!

By far the most polished game I've played for this jam

Very good movement, level design and extremely good pacing!

Great job!

The game is pretty nice: the movement is very in-depth but clunky.

The art is also very nice!

That said, the camera is so jarring that I hat to stop playing after 10 minutes because I felt like I was going to throw up, sorry

The movement is really unique but a bit clunky, I really like the physics of it all!

Overall a pretty fun game!

Really creative idea and a solid execution!

Great game!

I read the tutorial, how do I hold my scrap?

Really fun!

The movement is smooth and the mechanics all del very natural!!

Could use a bit of polish but it's really cool!

I don't really understand how the game is really supposed to be speedrunnable but the graphics are pretty nice

I figured out I was going it the wrong diurection :)

I played for about 45 minutes now and I really like the movement!

The sliding especially feels really nice.

Howeaver I fel like there are 2 problems, both concerning the sniper:

  • The sniper can shoot while the red laser isn't aimed at you sometimes, wich is really frustrating when that happens
  • The sniper sometime shoots twice in a row, I'm hiding behind a hause, the sniper shoots, I get out of the house, and I immedially get shot again! That's pretty frustrating.

I picked up a scrap, I brought to the spaceship and I clicked the sell button (the one on the table) but nothing happened, am I missing something?

Thank you for having continued to play, even if the games is really hard!

(I will probably make some difficulty adjustments in the first room once the jam ends)

Don't worry, I'll try again!

Thanks for the feedback!

The tutorial is what's supposed to ease the player in the game but I guess that first long jump is a bit demanding :)

Anyway, here's a tip (if you want to try again): you lose speed when you are on the ground and you gain it when you are jumping, so try to jump as much as possible!

Really solid game!

The graphics, the music and the whole atmosphere are really beautiful and surreal! (I'm a sucker for that type of light rays)

The grapple is very smooth but could really use some aim assist, as it's somewhat difficult to httach

I managed to get to the last platform in about 70 seconds but I fell before making it to the end :(

If the game is unavailable, why not remove it from the submissions?

How do you sel your scrap?

Quite a well polished game!

Unfortunatley most levels cam be finished by aiming straight for the end but all the mechanics feel nice tu use!

The game is really polished, wich is really impressive considering the small amount of time you had to develop this!

The graphics are nice and the orbiting mechanic is very good!

I managed to get a record of 1:12 :)

The are and music is really nice but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do at any time and the game is a bit buggy

The game seems quite fun in theory, but it's really difficult to actually play it:

It's pretty hard to understand when the sniper is shooting and the restart button doesn't work as it places you in the center of the hole and you fall to your death, repeatedly.

Also the music is really nice!

Try disabling glow, film grain and enabling less worm segments in the menu.

Maybe that will help, otherwise I don't know what to do

Thansk for the review! I'm really glad you liked it!!!

Fun fact: I initially made the base fill in after leaving but I scrapped it because some world generations would be impossible if you first left from the wrong side!

Also, because of the time constraint, staying in the base too long can make it so you arn't able to get to the end all together!

That said, after the voting period ends, I'm probably going to make the base disappear after leaving it :)
