I'm glad to see you're still working on this!

I do have a couple feelings on how some of the new things are executed. For instance why are their so many random insta-deaths in boss battles?! I nab a low amount of rings and just go belly up the moment the boss so much as breaths on me! It devalues the players effort of re-collecting rings amidst the boss battle chaos.

With the amazing fluid movement of these characters, it's a shame once you get skilled you can fly, jump and evade over the entire level. The original sonic games made it more easy to fall the higher you are. Maybe some floating walls/hazards and quick shooting enemies as obstacles could help make the skies have any challenge at all, while staying the fastest path to feel rewarding.

Not sure if this is just a web player problem or a me problem, but I don't hear any sound. The Youtube video bellow the game makes sound but not the game. I've reloaded my computer serval times to no avail.

is this game still alive in development?

Nice! I got three main things.

First, with higher levels than the first game if you're high in the air, it's hard to know if a bed of gears is below just out of view. Plenty of times while flying I got shot out of the sky instantly into gears I couldn't see before. 

Maybe some kind of particles could lift from the gears so players can see that gears are below even from the top of the level.

Second, use those bright red rims around the gears to be like neon signs the dark. That way we know where the insta-kill things are, now even a fast Digimon can avoid them.

Third, if quick shooting bosses occasionally needed a cool down time it might allow for more Digimon to defeat those kinds of bosses. (like lady Devimon has laughing text over the darkness in her cool down)
