I like the "Reduce Pixelation" option for more blurry textures since the big fat pixels on every texture can become a bit jarring after a while, but there are some textures that are not changing when the options is enabled, like the sand texture.

Smooth game, I like the graphics and the overall feeling, but I feel like the alien needs to have a little more health because it ends too fast, good job!

I released this Demo i have been worked in RPG Maker, the idea is to add things over time or even change the engine, but for now this is what i can show. Right now it's just a graphic adventure but i do pretend to add combat and an open  world with roguelike and survival elements.
