Thanks for the feedback! On the streamlined building suggestion, I’ll probably remove the need to hold the button, that is annoying. I added the focus and delay because it seemed like making you choose between fighting, building, or running was the right call at the time. I used to allow starting the building and then allowing you to walk away, but it was too easy to just spam more gravestones while luring the enemy away so they could spawn, making it easy to bounce back from being overrun as long as you had money. Forcing you to pick an action seemed to increase the tension and make it more about being prepared than just being able to deal with them when they showed up. But maybe I need to solve that with making the AI prioritize buildings that are in range… making the player sit around is probably the wrong way to deal with this.

Pacing/speed is a bit slow, and tuning spawn timers/distance isn’t something I had a lot of time for. I will be adjusting that for sure.

Yeah, camera moving during cutscenes is a bug. Sounds are muted unless you enable them. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, got a bit ambitious. The story was meant as the soft introduction/10 minute slice. Curious if you gave that a try or just jumped right in?

Music/sfx are there, just muted unless you turn them on. Esc/pause menu or the main menu had controls for this.

Yeah... sorry, I wanted to get so much more in... but ran out of time. I got the core loop to the point that it was fun for me (default settings on mourning manor), starting getting a bit carried away for a jam on adding mp/map/units then realized nobody is going to understand how to play this. So I hard pivoted and added the story/tutorial. Goal was to explain all of the controls, but didn't quite get there.

I actually have much more intuitive control/ui scheme planned for post jam update, but that is where it landed by the deadline. I added more detailed controls explainer to the game page so players can at least see what is there now. It is a bit complex... haha, it all made sense to me at the time I was adding it... definitely needs a rework!

yeah... I definitely didn't test on ultrawide... 1920x1080 is best, tried for mobile, some of it works there, some falls flat. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
