One of the Tabun's users wants to launch a stream and play games (but not all at once, may be for two or three streams)

It will start on Monday at 12:00 PM EDT (you can check the time here) and will last until the streamer can play.

The stream would be on Twitch or on cytube (If the streamer figures out how to use it). And It will be in russian, but if there will be a lot of people we will try to translate.

More details later

Thanks! Yea, that was akward...

(I somehow forgot to write soon)

Thanks!

(translated) No específicamente este juego, pero tengo la intención de hacer juegos con una jugabilidad similar.

(eng) Not specifically this game, but I do intend to make games with similar gameplay.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

An obvious homage to WarioWare, a bunch of mini-games where you have to have time to figure out what to do and do it.
Fast, dynamic, doesn't have time to get boring. Great idea, great design. If the author does not abandon the game, and add more mini-games and new bosses will be a delight.

Two complaints: it's impossible to play on square monitors - I had to change the resolution, and I never understood the principle of sorting cupcakes.

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

I bow to the developer: this is the perfect game!I haven't had a chance to play MarioWare, although I've been enjoying my hacked 2DS for two years now, but have not played
all the Nintendo classics yet. It seems that absolutely all the assets are used, even that Timberwolf in 32 pixels has found a place!

The final boss is gorgeous, references the previous game - also a great game. Maybe I'm mistaken, but the obstacles flew out right in sync with the music, which is incredibly cool!

I'm not afraid to say, MareWare is the BEST game of this jam!

KaskeT (from Tabun):

You can't enjoy it without knowing the language, as it's based on replaying one short level and getting various bad endings. All of this is supposed to be spiced up by the commentator, but I can't understand him.

Wanted to give it a "B" but found in it almost R34. Definitely an "A+"

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

Curiously, for this contest many people decided to make explicit homages to Vampire Survivors, Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015, Wario Ware - now The Stanley Parable. In the original game a good ending will happen if you follow the narrator's guidance, here the opposite is true, you have to go against it, though all the other endings are humorous. Getting the right ending leads to a meaningful ending, though. The AI voice acting is very handy for the developer, though it's not as pretty as real voice. I guess it's my humble English experience, but only Princess Luna's words were hard to understand, and she gives the necessary information for the walkthrough. The story is pretty cool. The narration through the book at the beginning and end looks really impressive, though a bit poor against the standard Unity skybox. Assets are applied in some very creative ways in some cases, especially the candle made from a flattened and stretched flour sack.

I saw on the stream what's in the dark room after the hole in the wall. I'll give to game an “A-” for that.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

At first IDK, made it worse by the fact that the square monitors, again, don't support it, and all the menus are smeared on the sides. Had to play on game page online. Don't like that.

On the first look it's the classic Towe Defence, but there is a nuance: we are the attacking side and for coins call waves. And upgrade waves. It is important - not specific “fighters”, but ponies. Either by increasing the number of ponies in the wave, or reducing the price per wave. Whether there is something else I do not know, passed only to the second level.

The object of the game is to get a certain number of your ponies past the traps. Coins drop from each pony for the distance traveled, that is, the more ponies, the faster the coins drop. But it's not that simple, as the traps get stronger over time and at a certain point they start to oneshoot and if you haven't managed to get the right number of ponies to the goal, you're stuck. The balance is so bad and ill-conceived that it's extremely difficult to pass the level, at one point you have a bunch of coins, everything in your fighters (but you can not send more), but a second later, literally, a trap or two get upgraded and remove all the HP of fighters in three seconds. And that's it, soft lock, you can send waves for all the money, but the traps hit the area and the number of fighters does not affect anything at all. Bits run out, no progress, start over, it's fu...lly worst than you thought.

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

At first it seemed slow and not particularly interesting, the basic attack hits weakly and randomly, green stuff first flies off and only then magnetized. But if you play a little, the game becomes more interesting, the main thing to take Chrizzy - she is your ticket to rocking. When on the stream host accumulated so many Numgets that everything lagged, I thought that the game is simply unplayable, but when I played myself, not once did so many Numgets accumulate. Although the author could have put a limit on the number just in case.

Alas, instead the author put a limit on the time of the game and after five minutes appears fire Numget. Perhaps there is a proper way to upgrade to take him out, but I was drained by him in seconds.

Another disadvantage I would add is a small variety of bonuses, but not in the context of the jam.

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

Memory game. We look at the receiver on the envelope, check the designation in the book and find it on the intersection in the upper screen. It's simple and straightforward, a banal sorting game. BUT! There is a nuance, you are unlikely to memorize the signs before you get bored with the game, so you will check with the book. But all the signs in the book do not fit on one page, you need to flip, which is not convenient, but okay. Alas, the book itself is an interactive element and you grab it every now and then, which you don't really want to do. To flip, you have to press the edge of the page. Left or right? Guess what, the page animation appears no matter if you can flip there or not.

Here it would be worth gradually increasing the difficulty, on the first day to give three envelopes, not a whole bunch and only nine cells, so that the player gets used to the mechanics. In the following days already add both the number of envelopes and addresses. And of course make the book immobile.

The idea is good, the design is nice, but for the above reasons I can not give the highest score

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

Well, it's a classical classic, I think it was on the Atari 2600 (I could be wrong), and I've seen innumerable flash games like that. I don't really know how to rate it. Gameplay is there, it works, the graphics is there, but it would look better in a collection of mini games, but not as an original project. On the other hand, there's not much to pick on

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

Vampire Survivors  but the fun was dragged out. It's dark, enemies are hard to see, and the first little boogers can be mistaken for ripples on the screen. Enemies get fat too quickly, and even if you are upgrading only one weapon you will realize that one hit is not enough to destroy one enemy. And there are a lot of them, but the weapon hits rarely. Probably you can try and go further away, but... where in VS you have pew-pew-whap-wham and a lot of weapons, and enemies die in packs and you are upgrading, choose, try different things, then here: zwoosh... zwoosh... zwoosh... zwoosh - how long, how depressing

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

If there is some strange auto camera rotation, try to disconnect the gamepad if you have one

I'll be honest about two things. First, visual novels are not my genre: I like games that require action. Two, Rarity is a favorite of mine as well. Visual novels are usually more novel than visual, so there's not much to look at in this game, but I want to point out that the text is very well written. I've read two books in English in my time (Alice in Wonderland and, unexpectedly, The Fourth Labyrinth) with careful study of every word, so it wasn't hard for me to get the gist of the text in this game, although I didn't look for translations of some unfamiliar words. The joke endings are short and funny. In my opinion, the canonical ending is the one with Fashion Consultation, and it is the biggest one in the text, actually. At the same time, I extremely enjoyed the variation with the flower endings. I've always been interested in the topic of flower language, but never had the occasion to explore it. That the red rose is a symbol of love was guessed, but the length of the stem got past me. I really liked that this topic of flower language is given enough attention for inquisitive souls like me. And actually, the way Rarity speaks is very similar to her character in the series, so I was not indifferent. In the end, I approached the simulation of a date with Rarity with some skepticism, but in the end, the game pleased me as a good book, the author did well. I really enjoyed it, thank you so much!

A very cute little thing. I love it. Well made game!

good old Tapper. The core mechanics have stood the test of time. The style of the game is simple, but the victory/lost/fail/level progression screens (or for something similar I got out like Well Done) - are designed with taste, with meme taste, if I may say so.

reverse Tower Defense feels remarkably similar to a regular game in this genre. The fact that the enemy is also upgrading as you progress forces you to make quick decisions: upgrading your heroes or send the next wave. In terms of tactics, I realized that I had to intelligently move Namgets 2D and 3D, so that Bon Bon would fire on one of them, thus allowing the others to run to the end. So I could only pass the first level without cheating. On 4chan was quite lively discussion of tactics to pass, so to finish all levels is realistic.

There have been a lot of attempts to make a game out of mlp's buckball. This one came out pretty good. It's quite difficult to keep three characters in your head at once, but the actions for all are limited, it would be much more difficult if you had to move ponies on the field, overall a good balance. At first it's very easy to lose to the computer, but then you can catch him. The game is great for an old arcade machine.

A very nice, interesting game. I liked the mechanics of sorting things on the table, that you can accidentally get a letter under a book with addresses, and in general it's nice to go through the letters on the table: they are piled as they are, but if you click, the letter aligns and it's easy to read where to send it. The mini-animation at the bottom as Derpy delivers the mail is pretty subtle, but it's cute too. Goofy visual style and nice music. I don't know if it's possible to lose here. The chill game I liked.

a gorgeous little game. Is it the Unreal Engine? It's very nice to walk around the cute little town. Gamepad support in such small projects always makes me happy. Of course, there's nothing much to do, so the game is attractive only by its visuals

(comments on game page are closed, so I write here)

A dynamic parody of Vampire Survivors. Without chrysalis the game wouldn't be as fun and engaging. The many variations of Numget are also amusing. It's a fun little game. In the fifth minute a golden Numget showed up and took me out without a chance, although I saw on 4chan that people went further. Also liked the music.

A slow-paced version of Vampire Survivors, only thanks to such projects on motives, I realized what the original game is about. The best attack is Lighting Bolt, the others are too slow. As I realized, nothing was taken from the Marecon Jam assets, and that's a shame. Gotta hand it to the author that drawing and animations are quite stylish.

Great!

KaskeT (from Tabun):

Pac-Man in 3D, collect cupcakes, boop the enemies. It's simple. Collected all in one maze - go to another. Alas, the mazes are similar, without any signs and it's difficult to navigate, almost always you have to go at random. Monochrome walls and floors tire rather quickly, I don't know if the author has limited the range of drawing on purpose, but you can't see very far and the walls appear almost at your nose.

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's user.

KaskeT (from Tabun):

Well, it's a pony Papers Please, starring Derpy. Calm, cute, gradually increasing complexity, but it is desirable to know English, as it is easy to miss what you need to do for the correct registration of parcels. I dumbed down the parcels on the third day - didn't understand what to do depending on weight. Need to reread the instructions. More to the minuses I will refer to the fact that the square screen is not quite the same mouse coordinates, which complicates the game.

However, I consider it a good time-killer

makise_homura (from Tabun):

Wow, that's cute).

I figured it out from the second time and even almost did not derped, reaching the end of the game, except that once I did not realize that you do not need to charge for the number of stamps, but for their total face value, so one fail, well, and on the last day did not have time to serve for a ponka, but okay).

I put it in my folder of cute games about Derpy)

And Especially like for little jokes like boops and the "HiHi Derpy Are you going to send me?" thing when you're stamping a Pon's nose and not a letter.

I merely translated the comment from Tabun's player.

Anon VS is a cool arcade game, incredibly clever gameplay, tightly addictive. Got through probably after the tenth time, but it was a lot of fun. Great game, thank you very much!

ReplicaReplica is really original idea, I especially like that you have to know the series to understand the fake. I'd like more complex questions though, still the game is supposed to be played by people who know mlp well, for example: Pinkie saying she never had clones, or Rarity saying her first love was
Trenderhoof. But in summary the game turned out to be original, atmospheric and has an interesting story. Way, and the player movement is done in a very funny way. I liked it. Thank you!

I can add, that there is the cutest boop sound I've evere heard. Not a hard game, but a little bit tedious. Doom HUD asset really inspired like I see

Farmmare is not a bad endeavor in game development. It's interesting how the change of day and night works. The dialog system is quite challenging to make, so it's also worthy of praise. Good luck with future projects!

PostPoners is a competently made game, looks and feels like a professional job. Clear tutorial and progression, thoughtful gameplay design. There are cute little things like booping and stamping ponies. If the game has saves, then the author has already shown himself to be a skillful developer. A polished, quality, cute, little game - I really enjoyed it. Thank you!

I made it! Man, the fourth labyrinth was tough.

Beg your pardon, I can't open the page. It says "You do not have access to this page". Or is it done on purpose?

(translated) Sí, puede suceder. Puedes usar la tabla que tienes antes para empujar la pelota. Por supuesto, es un error que debo arreglar. De todos modos, ¡gracias por jugar!

(eng) Yes, it can happen. You can use the plank you got earlier to push the ball. Of course, it is a bug that I should fix. Anyway, thanks for playing!

Yep, thanks

Why thank you
