I think the name "collective shit" would be more fitting for them.

My Support Story and the Censorship Problem

For me, LonaRPG is one of those rare adult games that’s so well-made it convinced me to stop playing a cracked version and buy it legally. That’s how much I wanted to support the project.

But the frustrating part is that, just a year later, this whole censorship/payment chaos started. It puts players in a situation where even if we want to support developers directly, platforms make it unreliable or even impossible.

That’s why a stable, censorship-resistant platform is so important so both devs and fans know their support won’t be wasted.

The Real Threat: Economic Censorship

Regarding the discussion, that's a very dramatic interpretation of the issue, but it's largely incorrect and requires clarification.

The main issue is not the CCP; it's the economic censorship imposed by groups like "Collective Shout," who use their influence to pressure Mastercard and Visa to cut off funding to platforms hosting content. This is the exact reason why Itch.io has been unstable and why you fear being delisted. Moving to a stable platform like GOG is your best defense against this type of moral crusading.

GOG is a Polish Company, Not a CCP Platform

GOG (and CD Projekt RED) are part of the Polish company CD Projekt. Poland, with its own history (especially WWII), has a very different cultural and political perspective than being "part of china."

  • Proof of Liberalism: CD Projekt RED is known for its permissive stance on fan-made content. For example, the popular "Lizzie's Braindances" erotic mod for Cyberpunk 2077 was tolerated. A US studio like Rockstar Games (who censored the Hot Coffee mod in GTA: San Andreas) would have legally forced its removal. This shows a company culture that respects adult modding and freedom, which is exactly what you need.
  • The Devotion Incident: The Devotion issue was an isolated, heavily publicized political problem from 2020. In fact, GOG currently has Detention (the other game by the Devotion developers, Red Candle Games) on its Dreamlist, open for votes to be added to the store. This proves they are not hostile to the Taiwanese studio!

Why Try GOG Again Now?

The claim that "GOG is not accepting new R18 games" is also false. GOG remains one of the most stable and transparent platforms for adult content, especially when compared to the chaos and unpredictability of Itch.io after the Visa/Mastercard fiasco.

LonaRPG needs stability and a reliable payment processor, and GOG offers that. It's the safe harbor you need to finish your game without worrying about being delisted every other month due to economic pressure.

You already tried once. Given your current situation, you should definitely try again now.

Hey,eccma417

First off, I'm a huge fan of this game and truly appreciate your work! I also wanted to say that the entire situation with Itch.io and the payment processors is absolutely screwed up.

That organization, the "Collective Shout," that's causing this mess should have been tossed into the trash bin of history ages ago. Their actions, using Visa/Mastercard to enforce their archaic morals, are nothing but economic censorship.

And all that talk about these games being the objectification of women is just asinine—I'm a girl, and I had a great time with games like this! Adults have the right to play what they want.

Moving to a Better Platform?

Because of this censorship and your concern that the game "can be removed by itch.io anytime," have you considered moving or cross-publishing the game on a platform like GOG (Good Old Games)?

  1. Stable 18+ Policy: GOG has a much more stable and liberal approach to adult games. They generally do not bend to payment processor pressure the way Itch.io has.
  2. DRM-Free: They offer games without DRM, which is a huge plus for fans and would further solidify your support base.
  3. No Payment Chaos: GOG is a large, established platform where there are no processor issues (like those that have affected Itch.io).

It could be a safe haven for you, ensuring stability for the game's continued development. Thank you for standing up for your creative freedom and for all your hard work!

Hey!

I remember Yorna: Monster Girl's Secret—it was one of the first games of this type I played, and I really enjoyed it!

This whole situation is absolutely screwed up. That "collective shout" you're talking about, the organization causing this mess, should have been tossed into the garbage bin of history ages ago. And all that talk about this being the objectification of women is just asinine—hey, I'm a girl, and I had a great time with games like this!

Now, for a question: Have you considered publishing your games on the Polish platform, GOG? They host 18+ games and have a much better policy for both developers and players.

I sense some awesome potential. This is awesome.

This game is a miracle🥰, I gave it to my friends

Hey, am I doing something wrong? Is the casino unavailable yet?

thx ❤️

hey, I have a problem, I installed the itch.io desktop and Lust Doll Plus, but I can't detect those saves and I want to move them.

nice game, I got addicted to it

Cool, too bad it's short.

I beat the game from start to finish in 36 hours <Content Clear: 93%> If it weren't for the perverted scenes and texts it would probably be faster but it was great and I recommend the graphics and dialogues 👍
