Thanks for letting me know, what browser / OS are you using?

Yeah they do change colour and pulse, but I think it gets lost in the rest of the visuals, especially since the camera is moving around constantly.

Thanks for trying it out. The goal is to "enlighten" all the other squids by making them swim through your ink trail. I should have made the reaction more obvious or added a bit of dialogue I guess.

I think we both started with the same basic gameplay mechanic and went in completely opposite directions haha. The squid movement looks great and everything feels polished, love the ink splat shadow effect especially :)

I think the bouncy smash mechanic could be really satisfying if the camera stopped moving and telling me I lost lol.

This is a fun game despite the bugs, I kept playing till I got all the power-ups. Building a snowballing army of little ink dudes is satisfying, although I'm not sure whether me controlling one of them actually had any effect. The AI seemed better at landing hits than I did haha. Nice work :)
