Hi! I'm the creator of BanaBuzz, developing it with AI assistance.
Play BanaBuzz on itch.io — free in your browser

Place fruit to lure tiny flies toward your team's watermelon. Adults nest for 30 seconds, then lay eggs that hatch 60 seconds later. The team with the most flies hatched at its watermelon wins the six-minute match. Use gusts to scatter nearby adults, or block their sense of smell until Restore reaches them.
There are three 3D maps, solo matches against AI, and a mode where you and an AI teammate face two AI opponents. Two or four people can also share one device and switch the active player's controls while the match runs in real time. Cross-device online multiplayer is not included.
The idea grew out of fruit-fly connectome experiments. Current gameplay uses simplified sensory rules; it does not run the measured brain wiring or reproduce a complete brain. Research background and limits.
English and Korean are supported, with no game account, ads, or in-game purchases. After a round, I'd love to hear whether fruit placement and scoring made sense. Bug reports with your device and browser are especially helpful.
한국어로도 플레이할 수 있어요. 한 판 해보고 불편한 점이나 재미있었던 순간을 알려 주세요!
