I'm a yuri-obsessed freak who only has eyes for GL. We voiced all the characters and I kept adding stuff like "I'll tell you this secret... for a kiss~" I'm glad you approve of my delusions <3

We (Aiya, Zero, Yuri) played this on call together! Comments:
Aiya: The visuals are so so cute, the story was nice and well written, and it all came to a satisfying conclusion~ I became the sole April/Lola shipper on Earth while reading this. If I was the one writing they would've kissed at least 3 times.
Zero: Such a cute little game! I really liked the aesthetic, especially the background art. The characters were charming and it came together nicely.
Yuri: I was entertained the whole time and the characters were very likeable to me! The amount of care put into the backgrounds and the sprites was also really clear to me, I'm impressed... Very cute very intriguing so good so good!!! I love bunnies!!!!!!
I'm glad you took it so well, some people can get really offended by writing critiques and the fact that you don't shows that you rlly do care abt improving which is admirable ^^
The time constraints are always hard to deal with. I'm lucky to have a full team to do basically all of the programming and art and whatnot for me, so I can focus solely on writing and directing ^^; so I think it's a little unfair for me to be too harsh on stuff that was done out of desperation.
I've been writing on a consistent basis for almost a decade and trust me it only gets harder. The best of luck~

Thank you so much~
There's minor branching paths based on both gameplay and dialogue choices but the ending is the same for the most part yes. I'm glad you enjoyed the writing ^^
- We didn't have time to implement a traditional save/load system but the game as of now autosaves using some obscure itch feature in a weird way. It's really haphazard and doesn't save things such as items and the full release will use a much more reliable system
-yes the gameplay is definitely undercooked but we hope to improve it a lot in the full release ^^ wish us luck!
Thank you, you as well!!!!

We (Aiya, Zero) played this on call! Comments:
Aiya: Very cute! The simplistic art adds to the charm I feel. It must've been hard coming up with questions that apply equally to everyone.
Zero: I also thought the art was really fun! I also liked the little voices that play for the characters. Unfortunately after three playthroughs we still got stuck and couldn't figure out how to unlock more questions, but I had a fun time with what we played!
Trust me, we understand. We left a lot out too, and I feel like our gameplay is a lot less fleshed out than yours. While we are confident in our individual skills, we aren't as experienced in gamedev, and I think it shows (lol). I'm guessing you guys have been doing this a lot longer? We have lots to learn from you~
I hope you enjoy Miracle Heart! Very exciting to know that you're playing it!! ^^

We (Aya, Zero) played a good amount of this on call. Very impressive job pulling this all together in a month as a solo dev! This is Aya speaking and I want to leave a few notes, writer to writer. You clearly care a lot abt writing and I admire that, which is why I want to leave my notes in the first place. You definitely prefer writing prose to dialogue (I'm the exact opposite) and I think that's a really good skill to have.
There are a few issues though
- Repetition is something you have to be very careful with. The in medias res opening being repeated basically unchanged is a serious issue with this version of the script. You should value the audience's time above all else, and if you are going to repeat a line, it has to have impact.
- Again, I understand that there wasn't enough time for revision, but the most fundamental rule of writing is that "less is more." Every single line, no matter how small, should be important to the narrative.
- Semicolons are fun! I think you had a little too much fun with them.
Please do not take my comment as insulting or demotivating. We all have areas to improve upon (prose is my weakest aspect) and I really appreciated your kind words in regards to our game!! I just want to be honest with someone who's as passionate about writing as I am. Looking forward to your future projects, thank you~
Our team played this together on call! Comments:
Aiya: This feels really complete and polished. I think the interactive elements are really awesome and made me feel like a detective! I can tell you guys had a lot of fun coming up with all of the designs and personalities for the students.
Zero: We got stuck at some points because the way things were laid out or worded could be a bit confusing, and due to people in the yearbook not getting crossed out we missed someone and ended up really lost for a while. Despite that, though, this was a fun time! I think it's a super creative concept, and I'd love to see it elaborated on with a more complex mystery.
