Hi! I’m looking for up to five first-time players to test the opening of Dino Frontier RPG v0.12.

ABOUT THE GAME

Dino Frontier RPG is an early 2D top-down dinosaur adventure built in Godot 4.7. You explore the frontier, gather resources, craft a Spear, survive a Raptor encounter, and form your first bond with a dinosaur companion.

WHAT I NEED TESTED

• Start a New Expedition and play for approximately 15–30 minutes without live coaching.
• Continue until you complete the First Bond milestone.
• Tell me where the objective, controls, combat warning, taming threshold, menus, or UI felt unclear.
• Report any crash, progression blocker, save/load problem, or moment where the game interrupted your choices.

PLATFORM AND ACCESS

• Windows PC with keyboard and mouse.
• English-language build, approximately 40 MB.
• Private restricted itch.io access; reply here or message me and I will provide a unique download key.
• The prototype is unsigned, so Windows may display an unknown-publisher warning. Only continue if you are comfortable with that.

FEEDBACK AND PRIVACY

The game creates a local text report at the checkpoint with playtest events and four short questions. Nothing is uploaded automatically. No account, real name, email address, or personal identifier is requested by the game. You decide whether to share the report.

This is an unpaid early playtest. Honest criticism is welcome, and I am happy to return the favor by testing another Windows indie build.

AI DISCLOSURE

The prototype contains AI-assisted or AI-generated placeholder graphics, sounds, text/dialogue, and code, with human-directed integration and editing. This is disclosed on the itch.io project page.

Thank you for helping improve the first public-demo experience!

Hi screenmateworks! PANIC TOWER 48 sounds interesting, and I would be happy to test a 10–15 minute Windows session and give you structured feedback on clarity, controls, what was confusing, repetition, and whether I would play again.

I am also preparing the first external test of Dino Frontier RPG v0.11, an early 2D top-down dinosaur adventure with exploration, gathering, crafting, combat, and bonding with a Raptor companion. My test is an uncoached 15–30 minute Windows playthrough up to the “First Bond” milestone.

The build is in English, uses keyboard and mouse, and creates a local report with four short questions. Nothing is uploaded automatically and no personal information is requested. It is an unsigned prototype, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning.

Would you be interested in a reciprocal playtest? I would be glad to test PANIC TOWER 48 first, then send you a private access link to my build.

Hi polyspice! I would be happy to take part in your test-for-test offer. I can record a 10-minute video of my first Rabbit Rocket Racing session and focus on the controls, difficulty, most exciting moment, and what I would change.

If your offer is still open, let me know. I will test your game first and then send you a private access link to mine.
