For game dev in 10 hours, this is impressive. I love the humour and point and click for inspiration.

Wow! Don't eat the cashier is the best visual novel game I've played in a while. The writing and humour is PEAK! I was laughing my ass off so much. The way the romance builds with each love interest is masterfully done. The art and CG's are gorgeous. Honesty, I love this so much. Thank you for this gift! You've made my day!
Rice - you're a class act! And a true solo dev. I checked the credits and you're basically multi talented, huh? Directing, writing, audio, UI art, sprite art, background art, programming - wow! That was a really cool horror gaming experience. I usually shy away from horror because it's scary, but I really wanted to try your game and I'm glad I did. Props to the voice actor Nao too!
I love how his name plate customises for each choice - The Witness etc. This is so clever! I love everything - especially all the art - your main menu file, his character sprite and expressions, the background. Even your text box. All your design elements connect and show how your whole story comes together for this interrogation. This is so cool!
Wow! Everything is wonderful! The art - his sprite, the background, the user interface - how those red lanterns light up and sound effects, this itch page - the whole game is designed so well! Yuno - great writing! Those programming transitions so smooth. I loved him moving to sit at the table. So clever! What a masterpiece!
Hello to the "If Then Else" team,
Thanks for your wonderful character sprites!
His name is Dashaun in my O2A2 2025 jam game called Cyborg Chat.
I've credited your team in game and on all my social media.
Please keep creating wonderful art assets! Indie game dev's like me love your work!
Kind regards,
Lila

Hi Yuno I('m) Write, how wonderful to hear from you! I'm so happy you had fun! :) Yay! Loved hearing how you enjoyed the dialogue and voice acting. I spent like the entire 10 day game dev on that flirty banter and it was wicked fun to write. Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. It means a lot to me. Thanks! Lila
Firstly, thanks for the rant. I'll try follow you somehow so I can stay up to date with your other projects.
Secondly, thanks for this "the making of". Had no idea about Rijksmuseum public domain assets. That is so cool. I'm now aware all thanks to you. It's such a gift to hear about your approach and experience in game development. Personally, I love hearing about your thought process and your design decisions. I know it takes time and effort, so thank you for taking time out to do this. I often think about debrief, retrospective, what I could do better. But it can be exhausting articulating thoughts and crafting the message. I appreciate you for this "making of". It's shows your journey and helps me with mine.
Aw, Rascal, your games are so beautiful. Your design is thoughtful and everything comes together - from game title name, storyteller words on screen, her eyes open and closed, those smooth transitions. I enjoyed being called a child of the stars, as it made me stop and think that we all are, a truth we all share. Thank you.
