i like the movement and the artstyle, those two i think you nailed!

that said i'd personally got for one way collisions for the floating platforms so that the player doesn't Bump their head in them. (amongst other things) 

love the self awareness and vibe tho! hope this project gets updated and kept alive, seems to be headed in a fun direction

I honestly wasn't expecting it but this game is pretty addicting, it quite fun! good job!
I just feel like i have to ask: why is text black on blue? it's very hard to read.

Also, just out of curiosity, which keyboard layout do you use? cause it feels like it's not QWERTY (which is the most widely recognized and used worldwide) given the keys the game uses.

if it is QWERTY based then i'd suggest moving the dash button from 'z' to 'q' or 'e'. That would make it more Natural.
