The enemies don't hit you from far away, I've even just tested it. But with the controls thing, I actually forgot to post the controls on the page, ngl. I was rushing to get the game posted onto the page, so I just forgot to paste the controls. But thanks for the feedback.

The psychic controls being I/O or Left/Right is a pain to deal with. It'd be better to have it as WASD.

After the GameJam is over, im planning on this being an actual RPG with an  overarching story, so the whole "level progression" idea isn't gonna be plausible.

I just watched, and fun fact, it's my first released game. I am working on other games as well, like, for example, a 3D first person platforming game that I'm developing right now in Unity

It's actually the player's hitbox, since the player's hitbox is just a square, but I'll try making the spike's hitbox smaller too

Yeah, I've been told about that, the hitbox of the player will be custom polygons in the update to the demo after the gamejam
