Yep! Fully finished, no more major updates

Hey folks! In November 2020, someone on Discord recommended I make a game based on the style I used for Drawtober that year. 4 years and 2 updates later, my first serious project is complete: StyxQuest!

StyxQuest is an RPG in which you play an insignificant imp who strives to escape Hell, and will explore every corner of the Sanguine Shores to do it. Master all seven Sins, experiment with different equipment and items, cross paths with all manner of monsters! And if you want more, play with a new difficulty that makes fights a little more challenging and bosses more vicious...

My game, StyxQuest, is finally out!

You play as an imp called Styx, who had heard tales of a portal to the human world. With nothing to lose they must travel throughout the Sanguine Shores, overcoming demons of all shapes, sizes and sins.

StyxQuest is a small side-project that combines 1-bit pixel art and a distinct sketchy style that has so far filled 30 pages of a notebook. It's a simple RPGMaker game where you assume the role of Styx, a minor demon who wants to leave Hell and go to the human world to do as they please; the plan, however, is perhaps convoluted.

The reason for it being short is because it's essentially the tutorial area of the game. More is coming eventually and it'll look pretty different. Plus we'll be padding it out so there's more to do
