I'm really happy to hear that this inspired you! I love Azali's music, he's a really big part of how I learned unconventional harmony on the piano! As a matter of fact, the first chord of Reminiscing was taken from an Azali song 😅

To be honest with you, I didn't think I would win. There's so many great songs here that I don't even feel worthy of being 1st place. Regardless, I appreciate you and everyone else who liked my silly music, I really do 😭🫶

I appreciate it! 🫶

Thanks for the feedback! Could you specify which song and timestamps where the main melody gets too loud?

I can definitely hear some resemblence in the songs you shared, very beautiful music!

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you think so! and yes you did get the instruments right :>

Thank you, I'm really flattered to hear that 😅 I'm glad you're enjoying them!

I appreciate the kind words but with all the great music in this jam, the odds of that are quite slim 😭

Feels like the background theme to some kind of alleyway interaction! I like it!

I love the way the strings swell in and out, feels like ocean tides at a beach at midnight! 🌊

meow (meow)

This is so brilliant! I especially loved how smooth the transitions are, Bravo!

Hmm I noticed that other people are already pointing out that this may be AI generated but I still wanted to give it a chance to hear for myself because I've seen people use AI generated images solely for thumbnails and nothing else. But after listening, I find it hard to believe that it's human-made, especially since you claim that it was made in Audacity. There's a couple inconsistencies in the mix that gen AI algorithms tend to mess up too, for example the timbre of the kalimba sounds like it changes the moment the accordion comes in. I'm 90% sure the song is AI generated but I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.

All 3 are masterfully composed! My personal favorite is Your Buddy, Homie, Pal. I really really like the bounciness of it. I wouldn't change a single thing on any of these. Easily a 15/15!

I was playing this in the background and got startled when i suddenly heard a tts voice saying "hello brainless guy :333"

WHUH? GUH??? WHO?? WHAT!? 😭

No but seriously, I loved this project, especially part 2! I wouldn't be surprised if it gets used in some sort of café-themed game someday!

Pretty good! It feels like background music to dialogue in a visual novel!

Awesome! Feels like it would fit perfectly as background music in Celeste!

The vibes here are awesome. I especially loved that bassline!

I liked the vibes here! The music sounds exactly like the cover art and the description. The melody could use a bit more work but this very solid!

Words simply can't begin to describe how much I enjoyed listening to these songs. Fortunately numbers can! Easily a 15/15!

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to type castlevania. I meant metroidvania 😭 I feel like it would fit really well in the context of a cathedral level or some kind of environment with gothic architecture!

I was expecting a troll submission but struck gold instead! This is amazing!

Immediately fell in love with this the moment it started! The rhythm and percussion is perfect, the melody is great and I especially loved those little piano runs! The only thing I'd change about this is the mix since it feels like some instruments are overpowering others at times. Other than that, this is perfect! 14/15!

There's an instrument in frozen city that sounds like it's off key and in all honesty it's a little harsh on my ears :( . With that aside, I sincerely enjoyed listening to 418. The pizzicato strings + piano along with that high pitched instrument work really well together. On top of that, the melody is very cohesive and reminiscent of a melody you would hear in a metroidvania ost. I'm finding it difficult to rate this submission fairly but I'll have to give it a 13/15 just because of how beautiful 418 is.

Thank you! Afterbloom is my personal favorite as well so I'm happy to see that other people like it too! :>

Thank youuuu! I'm happy to hear that you liked them!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!

There are some people that just get it, and you're one of them. Everything about this composition is perfect! The piano is great, the woodwind's melody is beautiful, the way the strings swell, everything feels very emotional and cohesive. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me you have worked on a film score professionally! I'm sharing this with more people because it deserves way more attention. Perfect 15/15!

This feels like the background theme to a castlevania game. The cymbals feel a bit too "in your face" but other than that, this is really good!

I got ending-credit vibes from this and it's very beautifully done. I didn't even realize it had already been 5 minutes until it ended. I have no complaints whatsoever. Well done!

I really liked how the instruments worked with each other, the composition is well made. My only complaint is that it feels a bit too quantized/robotic as it is currently and I believe that it could be improved by having certain instruments play on the off-beats as well as having moments of silence/release. Other than that, I enjoyed this!

Really vibey! Those chords work really well together and I loved the melody of the lead synth.

It could use some chords and more instruments but this is not bad! Very elevator-esque music.

As an avid listener of Bossa Nova, I really liked this one! I still haven't figured out how the harmony works but it absolutely works. Personally I think the piano could use some short staccatos mixed in there to contrast the drums (a very common pattern in Bossa Nova) since it feels a little bit dull during the parts where the piano only sustains on the 1st beat. Other than that, very solid submission!

Really nice. I loved how the guitar and the chiptune-esque synth work together. The drums could use a bit of work but other than that, I liked this!

This feels like a theme to a boss fight in an industrial environment! I liked the rhythmic elements you had in the background and the unconventional harmony, although I believe that it could be improved by adding more instruments that would better contrast the drums (a synth bass, synth plucks, 8bit noises, etc).

So dreamy and beautiful! There's some harsh resonance from the instrument that comes in from 0:20 onwards but other than that, I liked this!

Definitely one of my favorite submissions so far. It fits the theme perfectly, doesn't have any parts that drag out for too long, all the instruments work perfectly together, and there's a switch up with an augmented 5th to top it all off! There's a lot of simplistic songs in this jam but this one is very cohesive! Great work! 15/15

I liked the simplicity of this, feels like an animal crossing ost!

So smooth and vibey! Great work!
