I'm really sorry to hear that! I'm aware of this issue and I'm still not exactly sure why it happens. I've tested the game myself on 2 different desktops and 2 different laptops. The game works perfectly fine on both desktops (one was a weaker machine) but the game slowed down to 0.5 speed on both the laptops and maintains that speed consistently for some reason. I'm certain it doesn't have anything to do with the enemies since I've made sure there are only about 4-6 instances present at a time throughout the whole game since they only spawn close by (they despawn during boss fights as well)! The palette switching system is quite simple too, there's only 3 layer effects that function as color replacements and only 1 palette can be rendered at a time! My guess for the slow-down issue is that the game is using the laptops' integrated graphics instead of the dedicated gpu but if that's the case then I unfortunately have no control over fixing it anytime soon since Gdevelop doesn't give you a whole lot of options on how your game is rendered... I'll try to forward this issue to the gdevelop forums and see if I can get any help! Thank you for taking the time to write this comment and for playing the game!

Hmm I noticed that other people are already pointing out that this may be AI generated but I still wanted to give it a chance to hear for myself because I've seen people use AI generated images solely for thumbnails and nothing else. But after listening, I find it hard to believe that it's human-made, especially since you claim that it was made in Audacity. There's a couple inconsistencies in the mix that gen AI algorithms tend to mess up too, for example the timbre of the kalimba sounds like it changes the moment the accordion comes in. I'm 90% sure the song is AI generated but I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.
Immediately fell in love with this the moment it started! The rhythm and percussion is perfect, the melody is great and I especially loved those little piano runs! The only thing I'd change about this is the mix since it feels like some instruments are overpowering others at times. Other than that, this is perfect! 14/15!
There's an instrument in frozen city that sounds like it's off key and in all honesty it's a little harsh on my ears :( . With that aside, I sincerely enjoyed listening to 418. The pizzicato strings + piano along with that high pitched instrument work really well together. On top of that, the melody is very cohesive and reminiscent of a melody you would hear in a metroidvania ost. I'm finding it difficult to rate this submission fairly but I'll have to give it a 13/15 just because of how beautiful 418 is.
There are some people that just get it, and you're one of them. Everything about this composition is perfect! The piano is great, the woodwind's melody is beautiful, the way the strings swell, everything feels very emotional and cohesive. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me you have worked on a film score professionally! I'm sharing this with more people because it deserves way more attention. Perfect 15/15!
I really liked how the instruments worked with each other, the composition is well made. My only complaint is that it feels a bit too quantized/robotic as it is currently and I believe that it could be improved by having certain instruments play on the off-beats as well as having moments of silence/release. Other than that, I enjoyed this!
As an avid listener of Bossa Nova, I really liked this one! I still haven't figured out how the harmony works but it absolutely works. Personally I think the piano could use some short staccatos mixed in there to contrast the drums (a very common pattern in Bossa Nova) since it feels a little bit dull during the parts where the piano only sustains on the 1st beat. Other than that, very solid submission!
