Angry Birds but they're people and there's blood! I enjoyed the idea of this one, but I wasn't a huge fan of the tossing mechanic. It took me a few rounds just to figure out that I needed to drag TOWARD where I wanted to go instead of AWAY. lol
I would LOVE to see a more refined version of this one. Keep working on it~
So clever! I really enjoyed playing this one. Excellent design, lovely music, cute cats. I have a game idea that's vaguely similar to this (just in the back end, not in theme or anything) and it's making me want to work on it again lol
I was SO sure I picked the right cat, but it turned out wrong. :c I need to write my own notes next time, instead of typing them all lol
Excellent work! I am very much a "shoot from far away and run" type of player, but I did my best~
I loved that you had sound design, that there was an animation for the enemies falling down the hole, and that everything worked! That is the goal of this jam - get something working.
Lots of potential here.
Dang, this looks REALLY GOOD. I like the feel of it - I am a sucker for hand-drawn games. Unfortunately, there are more than one room where I entered and Holmes couldn't move or disappeared entirely? This seems to be a known bug, and I'm so sorry you don't get to polish it during the jam. :c
Honestly, my favorite part of walking around was watching those little smoke bubbles trail him! Fantastic detail that I really, really enjoyed. All of the designs were great. :)
What an odd game. I thought Iknew what my little cringe file needed and then it YELLED at me. "I don't need a HUG I want FOOD" okay, let me feed- "I'M BOREd, I don't want your stupid food". Right, right, so play? "No! I'm DIRTY." like ooookay, friend. Maybe calm down a little.
It was a task to get rid of all the parasites. That was annoying as heck. It's an interesting idea, certainly. If I wanted to install this on my computer, I'd love more visual feedback and make it into more of an actual "game". But I like the idea that you've brought forward.
Curious how this fits the theme? I know it's "Only one file". I suppose it was left open for a reason.
I'm bad at this game anyway, but this made it so much tougher. I tried to hit down to slam a piece and it rotated. I tried to rotate using every other button and nearly miss-placed. I made it through to L, so I suppose that's level 6? I was going to look at it restarted on me lol
This is a creative take on Tetris. I enjoyed the idea of the game, even if I'm not good at it.
I personally am not a fan of the graphics. It hurt my eyes and it was difficult for me to align the pieces with the Fish Eye AND the colors. But I get it.
I'm having a visual bug on the controls screen. I think this is a Godot thing. The controls were covered by the bottom text. I was able to position correctly (I hope) by zooming the page out.
I liked playing the game. I am not good at (legally distinct) Pong, so it was tough for me. I wish there was some form of voice for the TV since listening to them talk is most of the game.
As someone who has motion-sickness issues with both first-person games and view bobbing - 🤢 For a jam it's fine, but when you're making games like this for full/paid releases, please consider having FOV and View Bobbing settings!
But it was an interesting game! I spent most of the time just watching the minimap because it was certainly easier than running around blind. I'll be interested to see where you go from here! I think using jams as a way to explore something new is an excellent idea. :)
I didn't read the controls before I started playing - my bad lol So I just ended up kiting Barnie with the mage and beat him with just the normal attack.
I'd love more UI elements - add images with the attacks and cooldowns if applicable (when can I use "E" again?) and more feedback on when I get hurt (my melee units just got wasted because they bumped Barnie's toes). Overall, though, it was fun! Jazzy music, fun visuals.
This was a fun one! I had a weird bug (but it's not game-breaking) where I was in fullscreen and alt+tabbed away. When I came back, the screen was grayed out - I had to leave fullscreen, hit "Resume" (pops up when you're unfocused), and then I could go back to fullscreen.
I liked the mechanics, though! And it was cute, to boot. :)
