Hey there, thank you so much for enjoying our game, super glad to hear who your  favorite character is LOL

It was a lot of work to animate all of them but worth it to showcase the quirkiness of our space environment. Our writer did a phenomenal job tying their writing in, and for some, writing was implemented first before animation to really sell and emphasize some of the dialogue options.

100% valid criticism on the controls, will apply this to future projects and maybe trying to apply it to the game when we get the chance :))

Appreciate your time for playing our game, and glad the characters brought you joy to explore :))

Will take into consideration better control play for next time, thank you for the input!

Thanks a ton for checking out our game, and glad you enjoyed the interactions our writer worked so hard on. It could be that the dialogue box I had set up wasn't in it's proper place, or usually the right-click mouse key would help you interact.

Kudos for the suggestion, hopefully it helps future players until we can properly correct/update the controls. Again, thanks so much :))

Thank you so much for playing, and super appreciative it resonated something genuine and gentle with you, as was our hope finishing it.

I also agree with your input of the controls. It was my first time programming, so hopefully it wasn’t a major hindrance LOL

Immensely appreciate the kind words, we hope you had a wonderful experience exploring our story!<3

What wonderful praise, thank you so much for picking this up  :)) It was truly fun to make and experiment various designs, and we were super lucky to have our composer Jesse onboard with our unusual idea. He truly brought the emptiness of space to life!

Heyo, cheers for making this thread! My team created a narrative game that delves into the world of space, and you meet a variety of characters along the way to cope and process a traumatic event the main protagonist has been through:

Our theme of generosity stems from finding it in the most unlikely of places; from the connections you make, to what you see within yourself, Off Course is a reminder that generosity can prosper anywhere, even beyond our human scope. Hopefully you get around to playing it! :))

Sometimes, it's hard for games to convey the simpleness of their story, whether that be through writing, music, art, and even level designing, and we somehow have to put it all together by some unknown magic to make it all work seamlessly. Your team has succeeded in delivering us a poem in game-form, that leaves us with a genuine impression that our humanity is what inspires our generosity. Beautiful work, and I hope you're all satisfied what you have brought us!

On behalf of the team, I'm so glad our game resonated with you. As the 2D Artist, I made many iterations of aliens/beings that would be great to animate, and would generally make people laugh to see in motion. The writing and music together really enunciated the whimsical take of space I wanted to portray, alongside the stark difference the Black Hole area would bring to the player. Thanks so much for checking our game out! (P. S. Comet's Cousin ended up being our absolute favorite as well LOL)

Thank you so much for the kind words :DD We're absolutely thrilled you enjoyed playing!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for taking a look :))
