Nostalgia is exactly what I was going for... in a weird liminal way

I agree that it isn't intuitive.  I tried for several hours to figure out why the tile spacing didn't match the jump force, but no luck.  The SHIFT key was a Band-Aid solution to get it finished for the game jam.

If I do decide to make this into a full game, I'd tackle that issue first, and then the motion sickness issue.

The controls are unique and hard to get used to.  If you can send a screenshot of the crash report, I can look into it.

It is a known issue with the game's movement.  You can press the SHIFT key at any time to stop forward movement.

I'm glad!  That was my biggest worry

I started working on the idea a day before the game jam deadline :)

Thanks for playing!  If it were built upon outside of a game jam, there would definitely be more variety.

Instructions on the itch.io page have been updated

Hold down A or D and then press the spacebar.  I apologize if that wasn't clear.

Nope :)

Thanks!  I was worried some players might think that, but it is part of the experience.  I deliberately reduced the time spent in that 3rd boredom state so that the sound didn't get old fast.

Thank you!  I wouldn't call it sadness simulator, I'd call it Leeasson Simulator (half joking)

This game feels like the centerpiece of a South Park episode... if that makes sense

Audible laugh at Rick's face stretched over the model.  Also, I completed all levels !

I appreciate your feedback, truly!

Honestly, I threw together something for the jam and submitted it.  The whole idea is not fleshed out in the jam submission.

It is a tease for a larger project I plan on making sometime in the future.

The repository is public now

Yeah, there were collision detection issues in a few places that I couldn’t fix in time for submission, but I’m glad you still enjoyed it nonetheless!
