The theming is amazing, it's very atmospheric . Unfortunately I got stuck pretty early on.

The idea for RoseWars came from a certain university project which, despite its critiques and the hurdles it had to overcome, I refused to let die
.
The game concept can be described as Fire Emblem meets Persona, with some Shakespearean spice in the middle. You'll take control of the newest student enrolling at Kent University's theater club, a refuge for misfits and outcasts that all have their own story to tell.
The play's director, clumsy and eccentric Luca, is creating a re-imagining of the tale recounting the Wars of the Roses — a medieval civil war that set England ablaze during the 15th century and which became my early 20s obsession for some reason. Through months of research, I feel I've come to understand the events in the war enough to turn facts into fantasy, as a lot of characters are re-contextualized in ways you won't see coming.
At the front stage, you'll be able to participate in strategic turn-based combat, assigning the students you want to represent the roles of the characters involved in the conflict — which will have an effect on the play's dialogue, as each character brings their personality and mannerisms to their representation.
When the curtain falls, you'll get to hang out with the students in the theater's backstage, complete quests, go on dates, and increase your support to get closer to them and discover their troubled history.
