Hey! Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback.

Regarding the character-based rule: I interpreted the 'character' as the Payload you play as (represented by your chosen Archetype at the start).

Since you are infiltrating a network, it's definitely more abstract than a traditional fantasy dungeon crawler, but I felt it kept the spirit of a solo entity facing a hostile procedural environment! I hope it fits the jam's philosophy.

As for the Bytes disappearing when hitting sandbox, that sounds like a state reset bug when switching modes. Good catch! I'm going to look into the code right now to see why the currency is dropping.

Thanks for reporting it. Did you submit an entry to this Jam? Drop your link here, I would love to play it and give you some feedback too!

Hey everyone! I just submitted my biggest project of 2026: AXIOMA

It's a deterministic, cyberpunk dice placement roguelite. The entire game has absolutely zero image assets. It's built purely with math, TypeScript, and CSS, compiling down to a single lightning-fast 350kb HTML file.

I would absolutely love some playtesters to try out the Daily Seed and give me feedback on the difficulty curve and the UI layout.

Please drop a link to your 2026 Annual Jam submissions in the replies below, I'd love to play your games and leave feedback in return!

Thank you so much!

Please, let me know how it goes. Be careful with the third node on today's LIVE seed, the enemy synergy gets pretty brutal.

Good luck out there!

Hi everyone! I just submitted my entry, AXIOMA. It's a tactical deterministic dice roguelite.

Since this is a traditional roguelike jam, I wanted to focus purely on mechanics. I decided to build it without any heavy game engines and zero external image assets. The whole game is just procedural math, TypeScript, and CSS compiled into a single 350kb HTML file.

I would really appreciate some feedback from fellow devs on the UI layout and the deterministic RNG balancing.

Hi everyone! I’ve just released AXIOMA, a tactical dice roguelite where the board is your hand.

I wanted to see how far I could push a browser game without relying on heavy engines or image assets. The entire game is procedurally generated from a 6 character seed, and runs offline in a single 350kb HTML file using pure math and CSS.

Play it for free here

THE DAY 1 GLOBAL CHALLENGE

The game is completely deterministic. Everyone who plays the same seed gets the exact same enemies, shop modules, and dice rolls.

To celebrate the launch, I challenge you to beat today's LIVE environment (The Global Threat Ledger). Jump in, play the daily seed, and paste your final Terminal Summary in the comments below so we can see who cleared it in the fewest turns!

Would love to hear your feedback on the mechanics or the visual style. Good luck!
