I've never played any of the castlevania game but this has made me want to jump in. It's a fantastic achievement and good to see AGA hardware getting some love.

Regarding the controls, the shoulder button doesn't seem to work. I'm running it via an emulator but I tried the controller test on Metro Siege (demo) and all the buttons are mapped correctly.

Also, I was trying to post a screen shoot from a crash but it's not letting me upload the picture. Basically I'd gone through a few levels, died, restarted on the first level and as I was destroying a spawn box thing it froze and made an ear splitting sound.

Ahh, I thought you'd packed up CSpect.

The 'PC' version and the Next version seem to be different build as the background on the character select screen is different.

Thanks, Primax, it's so frustrating though. I don't dislike my job but I'd much rather be making Amiga games instead.

I thought I'd replied, turned out I hadn't.

No, we don't have a demo yet. Nothing we'd want to circulate until we're closer to release anyway. I didn't actually know you did cover disks. It's certainly something we'd be interested in contributing to when the time is right though.

Thanks for playing our game. I saw many bugs in your play through that have already been fixed. We should have a revised and improved version available before the results are announced.

Thanks PixelPlop I'm still tweaking the palette, the next demo should look noticeably different. Don't worry about the specs, the full game should work on an 020.

We're very far from where we want to be but it's nice to get encouraging comments, so thank you.

Thank you, we've put a lot of hard work into this but there's so much left to do. The gameplay should change and improve massively over the next few months.

You sure can! I sent you an email yesterday.

Thank you. I've really got back into pixel art and want to do the best job I can.

Long way to go on this but we're hoping it will have very solid gameplay in the end.

Thank you.

Nice big play area, nice graphics and a bit of a technical achievement I think. Shame it didn't support multiple buttons for the different firing modes.
