Min is definitely not as smart as she thinks - but then, neither am I, it seems. The problem is identified and should be fixed now, thanks to the sharpness of esdoubleuk. It was a recently added autosave feature not playing nice with everything else in the browser version.

I'm very sorry that you lost your progress, it sounds like you got your teeth into the game nicely. Thank you for your kind words, despite the frustration.

Do I understand correctly that you did finish the game, but are not sure if there were different endings possible? I can confirm that there's just the one ending - there's only one way Min's story could end up XD

Good Morning, Dear Sister

Good Morning, all!

This is to announce that our little labour of love, 'Good Morning, Dear Sister' is now live and available to play.

Loosely, it's an adventure game, with some DNA from classic 1990s SNES RPGs, and a lot of attitude learned from the Lucas Arts adventure games from the same era. Still, I hope more that just Milennials will get a kick out of this one. It's heavy on the narrative, and on the jokes, and there's a little combat because the world is a spicy place. Nothing you shouldn't be able to beat in about two hours.

In the game you take on the role of Theramin Anstruther-Mogg, a Goblin with aspirations of gentility. Min lives with her sisters in a crumbling old mansion, jostling for position in the heirarchy and not doing a wonderful job of it. That's where you come in, dear player. Guide Min in a bold quest to collect mushrooms, train skills, insult and be insulted by a variety of NPCs and ultimately unleash your plan to achieve primacy among your siblings. This is a game for anyone who's ever felt that goblins get a raw deal in RPGs, never usually amounting to anything more than fodder for the hero's blade. The goblins in this game have better things to do than get beaten down in droves in some musty cave - they're established society gals, after all.

You can play in the browser (with a bit of slowdown), or download a Windows or a Linux version. Let us know what you think - the game is a little unusual in style!

This game was enormous fun to plan, write and create - and we hope you have at least as much fun playing as we did making.
