I just beat the game on life 16 after a run of  slightly less than 20 minutes. it was enjoyable, i like the story, i like the progression. i like that it hints at multiple paths near the end. i look  forward to this being developed further as your update explains.

a few bits of feedback for you.

1. the automation is rather hard to work with, it does fight you as you mentioned

2. the convince the guard action takes a -very- long time. i imagine this is intentional because its a sort of boss battle, but the previous one just takes a chunk of hp away from you instead, so im not sure why this one uses time instead.

3. making the bed was nice, i wanted more upgrades that effected actions but i imagine those are for future acts,

4. i headcanon that the mana bread is actually a crazy thing to do and you aren't actually supposed to do that XD.  it kinda fits with the lore right? why would they have food storage if literally the lowest tier magical spell can make bread instantly that is significantly better than normal food? i like the idea that its insane to eat something you conjure with mana because its supposed to be a horrible taboo or something.

5. keep up the great work. love this so far.

this is a very strange game.

i know it is an experiment and not actually a game, i had fun trying to figure out how to play it

i liked your previous games, and i hope you are enjoying experimenting with game development still.

thanks for the reply. i hope you are having fun making this lovely game

i played this game to what i believe is the end of current content, or at least without some pushing. 25 billion for the next breakthrough might be possible but would be difficult without the pills i think.

balance is good so far, gameplay is fun. a bit of automation or UI simplification for ease of seeing the levels and their effects might be nice, i found myself having trouble seeing what was under-leveled later in the game. there seems to be no practical reason to get beggar or any of the lower level jobs to 100 besides letting me level them half a second faster. maybe a boost besides their own speed would be nice?

i think there is a math error with how the lifespan herbs work. it might be that they are only adding based on my normal life not extended number, becuase i had over 1000 years and took the herb that gave 1.1x life and it extended me maybe like... 3 years or something very very small. much smaller than the 100 i was expecting.

organizing the inventory would be nice. lifespan, exp, qi boost, and rarity is good but would be helpful for seeing which is the best for each type.

also having the toxicity gauge on the item consume page would be super useful. like super super useful. so i dont have to keep cycling pages to see its causing toxicity.

maintaining the 95% shutoff through restarts would be nice. mine turns itself off.

when i mentioned UI changes, i mean the ability to make all the boxes much smaller. they are so large that i have to scroll even if i zoom out far.

oh and can the effects of the inventory items be visible without hovering over them? they have nice descriptions visible but not what they actually do without hovering.

overall a fantastic game i loved it, just my 2 cents on my experiences.
