Great game for testing your monitor quality — on mine, everything blended into one black screen, so I had to pull out my Mac 😄
Unusual concept — I like it!
I really enjoyed the game — probably one of the most interesting ones in the jam! I’m really glad it’s fully finished.
I liked the mechanic of replaying the levels again and again. By the final level, I had memorized them and was completing them much faster — it’s great when you can really feel your own progression as a player.
The music fits perfectly. I love how it kicks in when the lights turn on, and I really like the overall style — keep it up!
Wow! The coffee machine mechanics are implemented really well, and the visuals are very pleasant. I liked how you gradually start making coffee faster over time.
The only issue I noticed is that at some point the guests stopped accepting the coffee that was shown when taking the order. It might be a bug — or maybe I misunderstood something.
I really enjoyed this puzzle — probably the most interesting game I’ve played in this jam! The levels are thoughtfully designed, and the “jump” mechanic is really clever.
As for small improvements, it would be nice to have zoom and restart mapped to keyboard keys. And maybe assign jump to the Space bar — pressing W that often gets a bit tiring.
The game looks and feels nice to play!
For a clicker-style game, though, I’d love a bit more pace and progression. It took about 3–5 minutes between buying the cookies and the kettle. And the tea lovers never showed up (as I understand it, I probably need tea bags too?).
On one hand, it does a good job of conveying that slow, cozy cave vibe. On the other hand, I kind of want a bit more excitement and momentum from the gameplay.
Thank you!
Are the assets and code AI? If you did, could you please put a disclaimer :)
Yes, I did use AI, and I indicated it in the `AI generation disclosure` section on the game page — I assumed it would be visible. But apparently, it wasn’t.
I’ve now added a note about AI to the description as well. Thanks for pointing that out!
Thank you so much for such a detailed review — I’m really happy that you enjoyed the game!
I was also thinking about what to do with the sudden spike in difficulty. Balancing turned out to be the hardest part here.
Maybe it would make sense to introduce something like a temporary “freeze” effect for the zombies? I’m still a bit bothered by the fact that you can technically finish the game without serving a single customer 😅
Or perhaps the customer could remain assigned to their table, and if they turn into a zombie, you could “cure” them and let them continue drinking their coffee? I’ll try experimenting with that idea over the weekend. Thanks for giving me some food for thought!
