I like the concept a whole lot. I also liked the soundtrack. The gameplay was fun once I finally figured it out. I did not like the lack of tutorials. This shows a ton of potential; I think that the most interesting thing you could do here is add more story and flavor to the actual gameplay itself. Overall, a good experience!

Actually, this thread was for the  Beginners CIrcle #3, which concluded last week.

Thank you for playing and giving feedback!

Thank you Alex! ^u^

I absolutely love the art and animations. It's minimalist but distinct, with lots of character. The gameplay is a lot of fun, although you definitely need to balance it a bit (between the pickup items not despawning and there not being a limit on turrets, you can cheese it pretty hard). But this could be tuned up a bit and be a really fun, challenging experience!

Thank you so much, we are happy you enjoyed it! Your game was a lot of fun as well! ^u^

This was really adorable and fun to play. The gameplay was relatively simple, but the fun characters and flavor text and good music and art all made it enjoyable in tandem with the gameplay. It was just overall very whimsical and lovely. Great job!

I think this is a fun game, even though the theme got mixed up it's still something you should be really proud of!

It was very fun until I got stuck outside the level geometry

I love the music, love the gameplay; the tank controls threw me off for a second but I kind of like them now. The only thing I have as a note is that the engine sound is kinda loud and persistent and it gets obnoxious after a while. Maybe tone it down just a bit. Overall though a ton of fun, and a unique game!

A fun platformer with cute pixel art and solid level design

Fun level! After about 15 minutes I just finally got to the monster for the first time. The thing with using the... flying fish? as platforms is a clever little puzzle.

I really like the aesthetic, it reminds me a bit of Steven Universe.

I enjoyed the level. It was simple, but not boring, and the story / concept is actually pretty compelling for a little 5 minute game. Good work!

We are a team of two newbies looking for a third person. Preferably either a level designer or an all-arounder. Some Jam experience would be nice, but is not mandatory.

Our team isn't really looking for another artist, I just wanted to pop in and say I really like your work, and to wish you the best of luck!
