Hello Nekkka,

It's very interesting how the CRT lines change throughout your different games, though they all provide an eerie experience, and the animation feels smooth against the pixelated screen. The trail animation for the player is easy to miss at first, but it's so nice and subtle once you see it. The game mechanic is a nice spin you should definitely consider expanding, and mangos would be a lovely addition, though what type of effect they would have on the player is worth wondering about. Now the Forest Keeper art is AMAZING, reminiscent of Inscryption's Leshy, another old mysterious bearded character. In the update you should add a fruit teleporter, maybe a lime green one.

Thank you for the chance to play your game, and thank you for making it.

Sincerely,

Kunal

Hello Nekkka and TimeOfDay,

The frame for the monitor is wonderful. The graphics for this whole game carry the pixelated degraded and slightly grimey look of No Im Not A Human, and the jittery pixel effect really makes it all feel like it is on a monitor. Whether or not there are CRT lines is hard to tell, and either way the monitor screen blends well with the text and bloom. The graphics for these 3D objects look great, and the buttons feel great and juicy, though it was a bit hard at first to figure out what to click on. Fonts are so important to the look of a game, and your font choice really exemplifies that. How you implemented your shader would be lovely to hear about, because it blends so well with the rest.

PS: I could not find a user by the name “TimeOfDay” on itch.io. You both made a wonderful game, and I wish the best for the both of you in your game dev journey. I am interested in seeing more from the both of you!

Thank you for the chance to play your game, and thank you for making it.

Sincerely,

Kunal

Hello Nekkka,

The subtle CRT lines are a lovely touch. The layering of the pipes and machinery adds nice depth, making it feel like this isn't the only press in the factory. Clicking out of the screen to pause is very nice, and a pause screen done in such a way is a rare thing to come across. It absolutely works, because it's not like stopping time, it just feels like stopping the treadmill. The feel of the press is very impressive. It feels real, and heavy at that, and it's responsive whether the clicks come fast or slow. It all feels juicy. The lighting transitions between screens feel like a neon sign turning on and off, which is a nice thing to watch. The color palette, with that purple hue, brings Oneshot to mind.

Thank you for the chance to play your game, and thank you for making it.

Sincerely,
Kunal

When is the update coming out? I want to play with guns and stuff. I want more gun shooting action. I want shotgun. Pew pew

Still 10/10 game.

First of all, amazing sound design ;).  Second, this looks like a great experiment you've made. A sandbox containing your ideas and thinking for how your top down shooter will work. I can even see remnants of your learning from your wizard game. Its shocking to see the improvement in the environment design between both games. With all that said, this still just appears to be a technical demo containing capabilities. This game is in its earliest stage, and I cant wait to see the demo, regardless of how long it takes.

I believe every game dev has their "dream game". A game that they always wanted to build. Every game before it is just practice leading up to their Magnum Opus. I don't know if this is the start of your dream, or just a practice piece. So keep on building, because I can already see a diamond game shining through the rough.

I'm excited for what you come up with next. Please don't stop. I will be entirely disappointed if you do that.  I give this a solid 10/10(obviously). Also, heres a gold star

I wish I could have been a part of this . 0/10, because you didn't invite me :'(

This made me very nostalgic of flash games(rip December 2020). I would not be surprised if I saw this on Newgrounds. I wont lie, there are are hiccups, bugs, and lots of jagged lines.(why cant I jump up when walking down a slope???). However, if I were to nominate a game to represent the creativity of the web game dev community, it would be Learn to Fly 2... and then this game. I'm sorry, but Learn to Fly has the cutest penguin. But honestly, no joke, this is the type of game that got me into the game development , and if it was 2018, I would have played the hell out of this game during math class. You can add all the cool graphics and game mechanics, but this game is what it's all about; Just playing a fun little game with a friend and having a good time.

Thank you for making this beautiful game. I mean it. I really do.

Where is the Full release??? Amazing demo. I want some more backstory, like who is that handsome skelly fellow and what genre of music does he play? Need more content before I can give a better response...I'l wait

Reminds me of Hotline Miami. Fun, but you can also just sit in the corner and shoot bullets if you're a boring person. 10/10 made my computer fan run really loud.
