Thank you for your comments! Yes, I will be working on implementing those improvements! Regards!

I’m glad you tried the game! I am passionate about retro games and MS-DOS! Thank you very much for your comment, I really appreciate it!

I liked the game, the sounds and the concept and the art in general! Very good!

Sure, the whole game is cliches! Retro, aliens kidnap cows, army, you know, all cliches from old UFO movies. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for playing it! It’s still in development, I hope to complete more levels and enemies and music! Yes, I try to keep the flame of MS DOS alive! Thanks for your comment!!

It’s a work in progress, it’s still in beta testing, I have the code to play music (C++) but I haven’t made the music yet. Yes, it is made with the tools of the MS DOS era. Thanks for your comment!

It’s a work in progress, still in beta testing! Yes, try to be faithful to the games of the MS DOS era, it runs on a real 486! Thanks for your comment!

I spent a good time playing, very interesting!

Very good and immersive. I had fun. Good work! Keep it up!

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it, I love retro games!

Help Santa deliver gifts and make friends with his reindeer.

Santa has been sued for labor abuse for his reindeer, and his sleigh is about to be repossessed.

Help Santa distribute gifts and regain the trust of his reindeer, so the Christmas Reindeer Syndicate will take away his lawsuit.

This is a game made for Cozy Winter Jam 2022.

Programmed in a few hours, in QBasic, for MS DOS, from scratch. Can be played online thanks to the magic of web emulators, or for Windows too, thanks to QB64 compiler, you dont need a real MSDOS machine to enjoy it.

Thank you!! I’m going to work on improving it, just spent a few hours staying up last night! Thank you very much for commenting, I really appreciate it!

Thanks for your comment! I will continue working to finish it, for now it is in beta version! I really appreciate you trying it, thank you very much!!

Hello, I am going to answer your comments! English is not my native language, so it may sound weird.

Loved your video review!!

It’s a work in progress, it’s not finished yet, so some promised things still don’t work.

The music: I made the code, but it doesn’t have music content yet, only the code to play it, so you won’t hear anything until a few newer versions.

The tutorial can be returned by pressing F1, I’ll give it more time until you hit a key in next version, good idea.

Space and Z do exactly the same thing, the difference is you can play with the arrows or the letters, it’s so that people can play left-handed or right-handed without crossing their hands. I plan to make the keys configurable in future versions, being code for MS DOS it is quite complicated to implement functionality.

There are some secrets, I plan to incorporate more, it happens that the story mode is not ready yet, only endurance.

I’m glad you felt it retro! It was the idea, a little homage to the era of Apogee, Psygnosis, Bitmap Brothers, etc :D

Yes, I am planning to put different difficulty levels for all ages and abilities.

As for the gamepad, yes! I already have code written for the gamepad, I’m in the testing phase, but it is very possible that I have a gamepad or joystick working on MS DOS, even on emulators.

I also plan to compile native versions for Windows and Linux, the code is quite portable, I’m using C++

Thank you very much for your comments, I hope I can continue releasing retro games as my time allows me!

I am so glad to read your comments, I really appreciate them!

Glad you liked!! Will keep working on finishing it, this is a unfinished work!!

Thanks for the comment!!

I liked the graphics and sound, and the game mechanics reminded me of dancing on the Pump It Up Dance Machine. I liked the concept!

I had a good time playing this game, it’s very fun and I liked the graphics!

Thank you! Yes, I really like retro things, I have a lot of fun with MS DOS and little programs and experiments. I really appreciate your comment!!

Thank you! I really wanted to remember childhood, I’m quite old! Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it!

Hello! The white text for the sidebar is from the MS DOS emulator, it’s called JS DOS (it’s DosBox with Javascript), I did not program that emulator.

Try downloading the version compiled for Windows. The online version with the emulator is kind of cumbersome, since it’s emulating MS DOS inside a web browser.

The version compiled for Windows has better keyboard response.

The best way to land the ship is to tap the boosters (for example up arrow or W), to control the fall slowly.

Thank you for your comments and testing the game!!

Rescue the marooned crew of the first mars base in this free MS-DOS (can be played on Windows native or web browser too) game.

Check it here!

Inspired in Atari’s legendary Lunar Lander from 1979, a little homage with some cool new things.

Control a spacecraft as it falls toward the surface of mars, using thrusters to slow the ship’s descent and control its horizontal motion to reach a safe landing area.

Crashing into the surface at too high a velocity, or running out of fuel or oxygen all result in failure.

Developed over a weekend, for a game jam, the source code is also available.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy it, all comments welcome.

Of course, I will continue working to improve the quality and music of my games.

I have planned to make a special piano to generate music for BASIC, I’m still in the design stage.

Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it!

Sure, you are right!

Already in the new version I added a particle system to simulate fire, based on your comment!

Please check it out.

Thank you very much for your comment, I really appreciate it! I hope you have a great day!
