The dialogue isnt text, it's a source string

There's already noticeable bugs. It's impossible to leave hub rooms when attending to the distress beacon setup by Kira if you click into the wrong room and the dialogue bubbles dont show text, they show a source line. It occurred in the bar scene where none of the text is words, it's all strings of letters and numbers

I was in the newest bit of Zahera's route and it was crashing most often during dialogue. I think it might be a bit hard to pinpoint exactly what was causing it as I had about a dozen or so crashes and it only really stopped towards the very end during Zahera's convo with Captain Nami

The new public update is crashing frequently for me on Win11. It pulls up a "not responding" issue every couple minutes.

The only workaround is to close the game out completely with task manager and then reopen it, all while strongly hoping that the autosave kept up with story progress if I dont manually save waaaay more often than normal

Please try and take care of yourself. Your wellbeing comes first and the fans, including myself, that are along for the long run are okay with develepment taking longer if it means you get to look after yourself. You're a person, not a machine, so self-care is important to be able to be okay long-term /hug

Will this update be added to the walkthrough? The most recent walkthrough I can find is from  ver 0.73

Thats not how Itch does business, when you pay for a game its permanently added to your account

Also...literally every other game I've come across, especially in the AVN genre, is a one time purchase. Why is this game not following that? Better yet, why are downloads removed atm? People have paid money and cant play a game they paid for

Yes, but when I click into it I get a message about 2/3rd of the way down that says "nothing is available for download yet"

Trust me, my issue isn't knowing how to find where to download it, it's that the download file doesn't exist

I bought it when it was $3USD so it definitely would've been very early on in releases.

Hopefully PHD compensate the people who've paid for the game if its no longer available on this platform

I paid for the game in January last year yet theres no download link anymore. Whats happened to it?

There shouldn't be a restriction on it like someone else had happen, no other games in my library have that issue, so I don't think it's a regional issue

Are there any plans to convert the walkthroughs into something other than a html document? Trying to create an offline copy for my own personal reference from it has been a massive pain in the ass because the formatting screws up something awful

How'd you get past the first Map? Thats where I'm stuck at atm, I've done all the combat nodes but nothing else is triggering

The whole thing with twitter being blocked is that it all stems from twitter, and especially Elon, being asked to deal with misinformation from right-wing groups. Including ones within Brazil.

Elon refused, threw a tantrum and shut down twitter's brazilian headquarters.

That had the domino effect of twitter being blocked because, from what i know, companies cannot operate in Brazil without legal representation. Their office in brazil being shut down means they dont have that there.

TL;DR Twitter is blocked in Brazil because Elon would rather lose the sites 4th largest user base, by country, than shut down right-wing propaganda and lies

That's my biggest issue with that minigame too. It barely rewards you for doing well and then punishes you heavily for not doing so which sucks when the window for a correct key press can be so small.

It feels like youre not meant to win, which is just bad game design

I don't think you have to delete a previous version to play the new one.

Personally, I  move the folder for the previous version into the folder for the current version and that brings all the save data with it. I do that with every update for games I play

Gave that a try and it seems to berhave properly now, but in doing so I noticed that the copy without the guide uses .zip instead of .rar, could that be affecting it?

I use zipware, which hasnt had any issues before now, with this game or any others, in fact the copy that doesnt have the guide and cheats for v0.73.1 extracted with no difficulties. The option to extract it with zipware doesnt even show up on the copy with the guide

the zip file that includes the cheats and walkthrough for the new version doesn't have an extract option on windows, it tries to open it as a program.

Not quite sure what happened with it but I had to download the version without the guide and cheats just so i could extract a working version of the newest update

I'd love to be able to support the game by paying for either the $5, $10 or $20 tier but I dont know if I'd be able to pay more than once

Honestly, I think that's part of what sets this game apart from the rest and makes it so enjoyable: you can tell that fun has been had in the creation process. It's not just an outlet, and that shows in both the writing and gameplay as well as the little tongue-in-cheek note at the bottom of the update patch notes.

I've genuinely enjoyed how whimsical the "typo hero" additions have been and I love knowing that passion transfers across to the entire game

just...to clarify, youre aware that what people post in a server isn't something that server mods actively put 24/7 monitoring on, correct? cause they tend to trust that a) awful stuff wont be posted and that b) if awful stuff *is* posted, that someone will say something so it can be removed.

if you feel that a creator should be responsible for what random idiots do in a server, then you're in for severe disappointment.

also...last I checked, there's no underage sexual content in the game, all the characters with sexual content are either implied, or directly stated, to be older than consensual age.

a lot of the newest dialogue feels super clunky. I'm not sure who's in charge of translating to english, but they did a really poor job with the newest update. some sentences have missing words, others just dont flow well at all, etc.

feels like really mediocre work compared to past updates
