Recently two of my Polish friends told me independently, that LLMs are already good enough for translating most stuff. One of them is a professional certified translator, and he claims he can already run most of the texts through an LLM and only correct some small mistakes. I was doubtful, but I start to believe it. "The future is now, old man."

It's not a base anymore, it's a translation. It's almost perfect as it is. I'd probably use a different wording here and there if I did it manually, but nothing looks wrong or out of place. The only thing I'll think about changing to make it more clear is the name of the option for clicking through, but I'm not sure if I'd think of something better than what's there. I'm astounded how good LLMs can translate.

The only things that aren't translated are the names of modes (Desktop, Attached, Internal), tooltips, and info about telemetry (I see the telemetry texts in the xlsx file, but not in the app itself).

Nice. I'll make a manual translation when I have some time, and when I feel like it. I need to be in a certain mood, then the text just flows ;)

The files look good, we'll see how it goes.

Thank you :)

It would be nice if there was a possibility to choose the app language - translate all the options (Games, Configuration, buttons, modes). Or at least make it possible to let the community translate the app.

I see it this way - xml/txt files inside the specific app folder (translations/app_translations/ui_translations/something like that). Either the app would scan the folder and load the files (some example file with the English text could go there), or you'd just create files for specific languages with English texts, so people would have it easier to translate.

If specific value isn't defined in the translation file, you'd display the English text by default. Why? When someone shares their translation, then there's an app update which adds some new options, if you use the custom translation file, the new options will be in English instead of crashing (null) or being empty strings.

I know it will probably require a lot of work and refactoring, so just an idea for the future.

I'll most likely translate the UI to Polish language if you'll add the feature at some point. I did some community translations before - for example I'm in the 7DVR credits for the Polish translation of the VR mod for 7 Days to Die. I also have my Polish language translation for Vertigo Remastered on nexusmods, and some tv shows subtitles here and there :)

Great improvements, the automatic mode works way better now. Keep up the amazing work :)

I'd like to see an option to choose the default capture mode when you inject GameTranslate in Attached or Internal mode. I'd like to be able to set it to Automatic to skip F7 press when you first launch it.

Try to launch the game first normally, without the app, and then alt+tab, choose the game on the list and click Internal or Attached.

Thanks :)

I just bought the app today for my family member who doesn't know English. I'm positively surprised about your response. Best dev ever <3

Is it possible to just translate everything on the screen while still being able to click buttons with your mouse? The overlay makes it impossible to click anything under it, so if a game requires you to click to advance dialogues, etc., it's impossible to use the app.

I'd like to be able to just enable entire screen translations and still play the game using mouse while the automatic translation is active.
