hi, sorry, it is on the list of things we want to add but things caught up with us and there’s a lot of things we want to do and not enough time for our various artists to get around to it, so it’s in the “possibly eventually” limbo right now

I don't know, I didn't make the game, I think there is a linux build, here's the Didnapper 2  page where you can get more info. The windows version can also work on steam deck using proton, I don't know about other linux builds.

Sorry, I don't know, but I don't think so. Yuti's mod has not yet been updated to be compatible with Didnapper 2 v1.2.5, so i don't think it will work. You could try, but there might be problems.

You should be able to select straightjacket as a torso restraint in practice escapes, but only for the Basic and Boxtie poses. It is currently not compatible with any other poses, so if you have a different Tie Type selected, straightjacket will not appear in the list of torso bindings.

After playing for a bit I think something may be wrong with Burnice's enemy AI:

In the trailer she's shown to slowly approach you from behind, but then act surprised and walk away if you turn around to see her approach. 

In v0.1, she instead seems to only approach you while you're looking at her, and looking away will cause her to lose interest in you.


Actually, upon looking into it more, she does seem to work like the trailer at first, but then starts behaving weirdly, I was just wondering if this is intended

Is it true that purchasing this here on itch.io will not grant access to any future updates? If so, it may be helpful to post that information somewhere on this page. I was not familiar with your work before and was unaware of this when I purchased.

It seems that in v0.1, none of the dialogue boxes work properly, I only see the following error:

Very nice work with the update! I am encountering some bugs with being chain-leashed by enemies: sometimes if the enemy leashes and brings me to a location, the player character disappears after a sex scene and then the game soft locks. It has so far happened to me in stage 2 after playing normally from a new game, and in stage 6 after using "select stage".

Thank you, yes, we understand that many poses and outfits such as nude are missing for characters. We will try to create a fully nude version of Seles but this is difficult because the original artists did not draw what was under her clothes, we will need to do it ourselves. The other characters will all eventually receive all poses, but this takes time and that is why we're deciding who to focus on next.

what version of mod and what version of game? It looks like it's not installed correctly, most likely other aspects of the mod aren't working either. We should first check your patches folder to see what it looks like. Please come to the discord server so we can help you install if you need more help.

Are you certain that the mod is installed correctly? The nudity setting is located in the "Overkill" tab.

I'm also a huge fan of Kinky Dungeon! The scenario you describe is also very appealing to me. Best of luck to you in your mod creating endeavors, please feel free to come to Overkill's discord server and the DID Games discord server to ask for help, we have many knowledgeable people who can help you get started with modding.

The setting is meant to block the player from entering certain areas or starting certain events if nudity is disabled, enabling nudity won't do anything by itself if that's what you're saying. I believe it should allow you to use nude outfits in custom camp escapes, and some events from overkill that can use nudity will (though there are not many of these yet), and you will be able to enter the private cells.

Thanks for your words and suggestions, we have had some people experience performance issues under rare circumstances, please check if your "Lovense Integration" setting was enabled, and try disabling it to try to prevent excessive memory use. If  that does not work, please try deleting and reinstalling your Didnapper 2 game and mod, as sometimes files get messed up for no reason and could cause lag. I think we have some fixes in a beta version that is not yet ready for release that should solve some performance issues, so hopefully a future version will improve this issue.

We may consider adding sock gags in the future, but some people may find them unappealing so they would probably be optional and/or locked by a content filter setting. I like sock mittens, and in the future we are trying to create a system to have multiple layered mittens, so socks would work well for that. The shock collar mechanics you describe are more or less how I was imagining it being implemented, but it will take quite some time before we're able to add that. Earplugs are a good idea that also would not require additional graphics, probably. 

This is an uncommon issue some people rarely experience, you could try disabling the lovense integration if it was enabled in settings, or deleting and reinstalling your didnapper 2 game.

Thanks for reporting this, those characters were at one point shown on the selection screen but were not selectable, they are tentatively planned for the future but have been removed from the selection menu to try to prevent confusion. We forgot to take them out of the compatibility checker database when they were removed from the selection menu.

The Wyvern Peak Prison is accessible through the travel signposts. The Private Cells where you can interact with the characters can be accessed through a lever in a room to the left of the entrance.

They are currently back in 0.14.1, you should be able to access them through the testing control room which you can find on the left side of the entrance of the wyvern peak prison.

I'm unsure if it's in the current version, but you should be given an item called the"gem of imitation" at the same time that you normally receive the "gem of illusion". This item should allow you to do this.

0.14, and no, most likely it will not yet be ready.

There's currently no stripping during escapes or battle, but we have been creating alternate outfits (such as nude) that can be selected before starting a practice escape, or with certain cheats explained in the changelog. We are hoping to implement progressive stripping during escapes, eventually, but this feature currently does not exist.

Yes, you can, but you'll need to install both overkill and yuti's at the same time on your vanilla game. Don't try to install overkill onto your yuti's mod installation.

Sorry, at this time there's no way to change the timer back to the default time point system. The best we can do right now is the option to disable time flowing in menus, which will make the timer only run while you're actively struggling and thus will function pretty much the same way as vanilla D2, but not exactly. Making the time point system work with our other modifications such as the arousal system would be challenging, hopefully someday we can figure out a solution.

Sorry, I don't think we have a way to re-lock doors right now, but we'll definitely try to add that in the future. We have a lot more content planned for Wyvern Peak but it will take us a long time to make, thank you for your patience. If you want to try resetting doors, perhaps reloading an earlier save would fix it?

if you aren't seeing a description, it does seem like the folder in Patches is at least set up somehow incorrectly. Could you come to the discord server and post some screenshots so I can try to help you out? You could post them here too but it will be easier for me there.

Have you checked the patches folder to make sure there is no overkill folder inside of another overkill folder? This was a very common issue this patch due to us packaging it differently from normal.

Hi, sorry that you had this issue, the current version should have Liliana's outfits working properly (at least for the outfits that have already been added to the game)

The Overkill Prison was a separate prison from the Private Cells, and both are currently not in version 0.12.1 due to some restructuring of our maps from the Truth update. We'll try to reintroduce the private cells sometime, but the old Overkill Prison has effectively been replaced by the Wyvern Peak Prison, accessible through the world map.
