I was thinking about Final Fight and Street of Rage... is it possible for you to add door's opening and closing animations? It would be fun to introduce the characters coming out from them :-)

You are welcome :-) Anyway a good source of inspiration, to create environments, could be the Samurai Shodown series or the beautiful game Warriors of Fate.

Personally I like a lot the Japanese theme series you are developing. I would like to see even some interiors environment, like a temple, a dojo, an emperor palace, ecc.

Wow, this is one of the best Japan's theme background I have never seen.

Personally I think that temples, palaces, forests and villages are the classic environments for this kind of characters. A good source of inspiration could be this beautiful game (one of my favorites): The Legend of the Mystical Ninja. This game is filled of references to Japan culture in the classic Sengoku era.

A really beautiful pack, it would be nice if you add even a tileset compatible to this.
