Hi everyone!

I’m a solo developer from Hungary, and this is my first game: Lucky Pop, a cozy pixel-art idle game about an old capsule machine that holds everything the world has ever lost.

The free demo is out now – play it right in your browser, or download it for Windows.

▶ Play the free demo on itch.io

Watch the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMlSihYy7q0

The story

You inherit your grandfather’s old arcade – and his debt to “the House”. On the very first evening, their collector Vance knocks on the glass in the pouring rain. So you start spinning the machine, collecting cute figures and lost treasures, and slowly find out what really happened to your grandfather.

What’s in the demo

  • 5 mini-games: Sun or Moon, Lucky Wheel, Shell Game, Scratch Card and Plinko – every round gives you a figure, and bigger wins give better ones
  • Over 100 figures to collect, sets to complete and a display case that boosts your income
  • A big upgrade tree and Skrip, a little robot who keeps spinning one mini-game while you play another
  • The whole first act of the story, Otto’s quests and daily challenges
  • About 1–2 hours of play – your progress carries over to the full game

No real money, no ads, no microtransactions. Available in English, Hungarian and German. Made with Godot.

Found a bug? Have an idea?

This is my first game, so a few bugs are probably still hiding in it. If you run into one – or have any idea or suggestion – please leave a comment on the game’s page or reply here. I read every comment and fix things as fast as I can. It helps a lot if you tell me what you were doing when it happened.

What’s next

I’m also starting a bigger new game, and I’ll share its development on my YouTube channel. If you’d like to follow along: [Koczka Games on YouTube]

Thanks for reading – and good luck with the capsules! – Milán (Koczka Games)

Cool game and nice art style!
