I have seen this happen once before but I have no idea what causes it.

It could be a case of rpg maker skipping over something that it shouldnt so I'll try my best to fix this a update the build as soon as I can.

Escape the Abattoir Man is a retro styled horror game inspired by the look of old 80s ms dos and commodore 64 games. A tense and scary yet hillarious exeperience, Escape the Abattoir Man has that campy feel of old 80s slasher movies.

Play as Michael D'Amato, a young 23 year old man who flew to New York to play the main character in his uncle's new horror movie. Instead he has found himself as the target of the Abattoir Man, a 10 foot tall maniac who wants nothing more that to destroy you for his own sick twisted entertainment and pleasure.

Run, hide and fight for your life! solve puzzles, collect keys and save poor Michael from this monsters sick twisted game.

If you don't like being stalked and chased, this game will be your worst nightmare!

The game has a a sense of dark humor, never taking itself too seriously but still knowing when to have quiet and serious moments to maximize a sense of dread and terror.
Your heart will pound as you hear the killers footsteps and your stomach will sink once you enter his field of view. You are never safe, all you can do is hide from the killer or delay him with traps, but you are just a small Italian man, you can't kill this monster. You are not a hero

Thank you so much!

Yeah, the game is pretty janky and buggy. It is my first ever game and the fact Trevors ai works at all was a stroke of luck.

Tell me what you think

Thank you

I have plans to add more content to the game in the future, like a second escape route for Michael that adds more maps and of course more endings.

Or play as Trevor Hartman, the Abattoir Man himself. Stalk and kill Michael or explore the map, you never know what you may find...

The game promises multiple endings, intense moments and challenging puzzles

Are you ready to escape the maniac? Good luck, you'll need it!
