I admire your enthusiasm and I appreciate your friendliness. But please do be careful: I already mentioned the rule about advertising, community rule 5. But asking for emails violates a different rule, community rule 3. I have no doubt that you have good intentions, but others might not see it that way. You're an aspiring creator, and I would hate for something to happen to your account due to these misunderstandings.

As for your offer of working together, I do appreciate it, and it does seem like it would an interesting experience, but I'll have to politely decline. I have tried collaborating with others in the past and there always seems to be conflicting ideas that result in one or both people involved being let down by the fact that their vision for what they wanted to create wasn't created in a way that's satisfying to them due to needing to meet in the middle. These are just my experiences. Also, if it were different people working on different parts of the game, such as one person working on the coding, another working on art, another working on music, and there's like a game director or something, that could work, but I don't see myself working in a team well when making my games, due to what I mentioned above. Sure, I can collaborate minimally and I can put special thanks or similar things in the description of my games to give credit to people who have contributed ideas, but actually having several people work on the same game, I feel that would not be a good fit for me. Again, my apologies and Thank you.

Ah, my bad. I guess I've never noticed that itch had that feature of promoting similar games. As for contact information, I'd rather not share anything personal, or what I consider to be personal, such as an email address.

If you'd like to chat, I don't mind chatting in the comments of our games and other projects, as long as that's okay with you.

Thank you and again, my apologies for the misunderstanding.

Hey, I saw your comment on my page.
I appreciate you sharing your game with me.
There are some things I noticed: Your account and game is new, just being a few hours old, and this game seems very similar to mine. I'm assuming that's why you shared your game with me. I doubt that it's coincidence that our games are so similar. Not to make it about me, but I have a question: Did my game by any chance inspire you to make this? If it did, I'm honored. If not, I apologize for my confusion. It's just that I see so many similarities right away.
I would like to ask you to keep in mind that copying a game almost exactly can be a bit tricky. While it's good practice to help understand how games are made, if you are in fact copying  or basing it off of someone else's work, posting it publicly could potentially get you in some trouble, depending on how similar it is. I do admit, the concept of our games are somewhat (this is in no way an insult to your game!) simple to come up with, so this could just be a big misunderstanding on my part. Our games are kind of similar to that of Geometry Dash, or maybe even Flappy Bird. I just saw too many similarities to think that this truly is a coincidence.

I'm going to be frank, when I saw your comment, I thought it may have been spam, especially since I believe it broke itch's advertising rule, Community Rule 5. My initial instinct was to report your comment, but once I looked into this more, and saw the similarities, I realized I made a mistake and could have handled the situation much better. At first, I thought someone was trying to steal my idea and use it as their own. But, I now believe that there was no ill intent. Communities like these are places where sharing creations should be encouraged, and I sincerely apologize for my initial reaction. But be careful, because in situations like these, miscommunication can happen really easily, leading to situations that aren't the best.

Now, to my comments on the game: Is this the first game you've made? The graphics are very good! I do have to say that I wasn't able too get the rabbit to jump while using the spacebar on the desktop browser, so I unfortunately wasn't able to enjoy what your game has to offer. When you update the game, It's likely that I'll revisit it and give it another try.

Sorry again for any confusion. I'll try to respond to any comments, questions, complaints... I don't want to start any issues and I don't want to miscommunicate.

Thank you!

Thank you!!!

Hi, thanks so much for playing!
Just for clarification, is there anything that you would like me to change still, or are you saying you changed your mind and it's fine as is?

I found this jam a week before the deadline so I'm trying to speedrun making a game. I have most of it done, but I don't know if I'll have enough time to add sounds. :,)

This is so well made, I love it!
I tried getting past the King several times but I got overwhelmed by his troops. I may try again soon. Very good game!

Oh also, one last thing: I recommend adding a way to change the volume.

After finishing the game, I refreshed the page and the intro cutscene played again, so wanting to skip it, I mashed all the buttons on my keyboard until it skipped it. I'm glad you added the function to skip the cutscene, but the final glitch I found was that when skipping the cutscene, the cutscene music continues playing until the song is over.
Great game!

On what I'm assuming is the last level, when I completed the level, I get that there'd be no "next" button, but there's also no button to go to the menu or restart, causing a softlock.

Another glitch I found: On level 4, the music changes, which is normal, but when I press "restart", the music continues, overlapping with the other music.

Hey, Nice game!
I wanna note, as I'm playing, I've noticed a glitch, and I want to point it out just so you're aware :D
I've noticed it seems to happen right after collecting a piece of candy. I don't know exactly what causes it, but to describe what happened: I collect a piece of candy, then move to the side and then move back to where the candy was, very quickly, like, I tapped the d key to move forward (away from the candy after collecting it) but then realized I was getting too close to getting hurt so I immediately tap the a key to not run into the enemy, and it collects the candy again, even though the candy isn't there anymore, or at least isn't visible. It also happened when I'd get hit right after collecting a piece of candy, but I'm assuming that's because I got knocked back into the candy, resulting in the same movement that I mentioned before. Or the glitch might not be caused by that. :P

Also, I expected R to restart the level and it took me too long to realize that Esc was how to activate the pause menu. That's my bad, but I do recommend adding the esc keybind to the description along with the other keybinds.

I'll continue playing and keep a lookout for more glitches if I find any!

Hello, I was interested in viewing this but I want to point out that it seems the resolution is half of what it's supposed to be, making the game unplayable for me unfortunately (I am making this comment 18 minutes after the release though, so by the time anyone sees this comment, this will probably be outdated).

Thanks! I tried to make it a bit challenging while still do-able, yeah. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it!

I've never played dark souls so I don't quite get the joke. Care to elaborate?

There were a few glitches I noticed: If you lock the door on day 5 before that's the actual task, the text "Go to bed" will overlap with the current task. Another glitch happened when I was on day ? and I picked up the basket, trying to get a different ending, and when I went to pick berries, the game got softlocked. I was only able to get the one ending, the good ending since I got softlocked with the berries afterwards. Very good game, I liked it.
