Hi all! We’ve just released the free demo of Oscar Wants Food, a 2D action roguelite about a very round orange cat who has been put on a diet.
What’s in the demo
- The full Bedroom & Hallway area, plus the couch hub between runs
- Snacks from four families that power up your moves, and rare duo snacks when the right two combine
- Junk Drawer mods that rewire a move (turn the Belly Flop into an iron anvil, or leave a ghost behind when you dash and snap back to it)
- An optional Rival, Rise ’n’ Shine the alarm clock, and the boss, Big Kev
- Permanent couch upgrades, a recipe book to fill in, and goals on the fridge
- Mouse and keyboard or controller, fully rebindable, with a practice room to learn the moves
It’s free, takes about 30 minutes for a few runs, and runs on Windows.
