Really nice! Feels even better to play than I expected after watching the video! It's nice to enter the paintings only mode and just walk around viewing them.
Can't wait for future releases!

I'm a little late to the party, but I love this game. I really like all your games. The art style is great. I wasn't able to make it past year 13, but it was due to my impatience.
I'm a bit of a speedrunner at heart, so I rushed through it as fast as possible, and unassigned the builders too quickly. I did this mistake a couple of times. That's why I loved your previous game, "get stick, get apple". If I recall correctly, I still hold the record on there!
I've really liked following your work. Updates to Paths and Ways, and your other games.
Anyhow, I really enjoyed playing. It's amazing, especially for a game jam game.
I don't mean the boss area (c11) bat. The first area the character appears in after making a new game has a bat enemy. I thought it was strange it was there, as it was a really strong enemy to fight before even being taught how to attack. You showed yourself testing the bat (then normal enemy) in the f01 map, so I figured it must've been put there by accident. After a few seconds, the bat starts his air attack, but then the game crashes. The entire window just closes. Here's a video. I assume it was just a debug enemy in the f01 map, and that you just forgot to disable it in the final export. It's flight stage probably calls for an object not present in this stage, crashing the game. I see someone also commented about this issue on the windows version, so it's not just a linux port thing.
P.S. In the video the game seems to freeze, but the window fully closes. OBS just freezes the last frame once the program aborts.
I really enjoyed this update; I think you totally nailed the chapter 2 cave feel. Perfect ambiance, and the boss music is SO GOOD! Unfortunately, the game crashed every time the bat took flight (Linux version!). Not the bat boss, but the 1st stage bat, making it impossible to progress. Thankfully, I remembered the map change command from a few versions back, which allowed me to enjoy the update. I love the new boss, character, and especially the final boss area, plus the music! It totally lets you immerse yourself in the fight, and its upbeat tones once you defeat the boss are just so rewarding. I love how this game is turning out and cannot wait for the next update!
P.S. Thanks for adding a difficulty setting! The game felt just a tad bit hard for me, so this is a welcome change!
