You play as Ronan Vale, a former soldier turned wanderer who arrives in a quiet mountain village called Stonehearth. The tavern scene you showed is the opening location — a warm, rustic inn where the world feels safe… until it isn’t.
A forgotten power stirs beneath the mountains, and Ronan becomes the unwilling bearer of an ancient ember that binds him to a dying guardian spirit. The ember grants visions, abilities, and a connection to the world’s fading magic — but it also attracts something hunting him.
