honestly yeah I agree, I wish there was just a bit more ease-of-access to the gameplay. I often can't wrap my head around what changed when I upgraded my base, or what had a silent event, or locate whatever the thing is that hit the ground. I don't think this is because it's 'too convoluted' but I do agree that things could use more indication than their hover-over context menu. A good example of this is the electrical arcs that appear leading from a broken transformer, big 'look at me' thing that still fits the overall theme of the game. I think that to fix the issue of not being able to find whatever just hit the ground, maybe squinting (zoom key) can make items and other interactables more visible.

I thought I heard somewhere that the dev planned to add multiplayer once the game was more fully implemented (like alpha / beta stage) as to not make each new item / area / event a coding nightmare
