How do you load a game. ive been trying to do this and it wont work

For some reason the download speed of this game is the absolute slowest speed I've ever seen on Itch. Everything else on here is fast but 2 hrs to download something that isn't even a gig is bs. Might want to look into this... oh and it hasn't even finished downloading.

Is there somewhere else I can download this game since I bought it.

for some reason when i enter combat, if i do not defeat the enemy in one turn the game will freeze and will not let me do the next turn.

they do not update this enough to support. its like every six months
