It’s great. I have been keeping my eye out for 3rd party solo stuff. Thought I haven’t seen any, I have used the Omphalos rules to randomly create the city at different eras and it gets me in the zone for solo play.

The vibe is just too good (and particular) for most generic fantasy oracles in my opinion. But Mythic can help. To me HMTW is like a less gritty Mörk Borg, but instead of a Sweden built on apocalyptic Doom Metal, it’s set in a Byzantium built on Dungeon Synth and old whimsical and literature. Examples like Italo Calvino, Jorges Luis Borges, Edgar Allen Poe, and Charles Dodgeson.

Has anyone been having trouble with Indie Press Revolution? Both physical products (analog book and bundle) are listed as in stock, unlike Knave of Cups. But IPR doesn’t let me check out, saying that shipping cost cannot be estimated. It’s been for the last couple of days.

edit: Update - IoDM is marked as Adult content on the backend of the IPR store. Purchase as Guest isn’t an option, so an account has to be made. Accounts have an Adult Content dropdown under Additional information in “My account” that needs to be changed to “Yes please, I certify that I am over 18.” Everything seems to work after I changed the default “under 18 years old.”

Is it too late to join the Discord server?

I'm glad you are planning to see it through and I hope Plastiboo doesn't ask you to stop. If anything, it'd be cool to see them pitch in or give pointers. I can also understand if they don't see an actual game as in their vision for the project though. Hype should be good all around as long as it isn't promoting bad actors. 

This is a helluva start. I hope you continue it, especially with the increasing publicity.

I'm so excited to get into the nitty gritty of the combat mechanics so I can run this game. I feel like I've got a decent grasp after the actual play and Dev logs, but I'm ready to get more confident.

Comus, I know you've already got years of play-testing under your belt, but are there any specific places or ways that you'd like play-testing type stuff, such as reviews on itch or even old-school actual play type text logs?

Then I saw the Baron's post and found it auspicious. I'm excited to see where this goes.
