Oh wow this is pretty damn comprehensive, thank you for your constructive response and the links!

I'm asking for a way to appeal so they can go to the card providers and tell them "hey our community is requesting we keep this content". You know, the way that this works when any other website is being threatened by payment providers.

One of the reasons I was drawn to itch was their efforts to support small artists and what is right vs supporting mega corporations and what is deemed socially acceptable by puritans. Sadly, the recent actions taken by itch do not seem to be consistent with the same values that encouraged "bundles for equality" and the like that attracted me as a gamer and media consumer. When entire genres can be wiped off the site over night due to international meddling, it's hard to see justice for any of your creators. Especially when neither the creators nor consumers were given any warning. Is there any way for us as a community to formally appeal this decision, or is it final and permanent? 

I just landed on a planet named Hymen and I don't really know how to react to that name. Very fun game!
