This one is for people who spent their twenties in 2000s MMOs and do not have forty hours a week any more.
Bone Pit keeps the combat you remember - tab target, cast bars, a global cooldown, interrupts you have to time, seven classes with talent trees - and throws out everything around it. No subscription, no dailies, no raid night, no three weeks of levelling before the game starts. A run is about twenty minutes. You draft spells and cards as you go, the loot drops in the run, and if you die you start another one.
- PvE: three acts of undead, orcs and demons. Slams are drawn on the floor - step out of them. An orange cast bar means kick it now, or the priest raises the corpses behind you.
- PvP: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 arena against bots that interrupt you, fake their casts and peel for each other. Or against a friend on the same build.
- Loot you can see: a Rare runs a band of light over the plate, an Epic throws motes, a Legendary burns with your class’ own fire.

Sit down for twenty minutes, press your buttons, feel the old thing again. If you try it, tell me which fight felt unfair and which death felt earned - that is the feedback I need most.
